Yesterday it opened normally, today it won't, as said above.

I tried renaming the Mozilla Firefox to OldFirefox, and clean install, still won't work.

When trying to open in safe mode, window open but then says : Not responding, and it jam like this.

I even tried to report my 5 latest bp- and it still wasn't conclusive.

Any answer somebody?

BTW my computer is a MacBook Pro with Windows 7 32 bits Legit Boot Camp, si maybe it does make a difference.

My Internet Explorer work, thought.

Thanks!!

Thank you for the crash reports. The most recent, processed Dec. 27th, doesn't look familiar to me. When I click the "More Reports" link it doesn't show anyone else reporting this exact same crash during the past 28 days. It could be specific to your configuration, but I'm not able to figure it out (I am not an engineer).

The next two, from Dec. 23rd and 24th, were shutdown crashes. Firefox logs these if shutdown was not completed within the expected time. Do you recall closing Firefox intentionally and then getting the crash reporter dialog, or did Firefox close itself?

In case the new crashes are caused by corrupted program files, could you... and please adapt to your Windows-on-Mac configuration as needed:

Clean Reinstall

We use this name, but it's not about removing your settings, it's about making sure the program files are clean (no inconsistent or alien code files). As described below, this process does not disturb your existing settings. Do NOT uninstall Firefox, that's not needed.

(A) Download a fresh installer for Firefox 43.0.3 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)

(B) Exit out of Firefox (if applicable).

(C) Rename the program folder as follows:

(64-bit Windows folder names)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

to

C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox

(32-bit Windows folder names)

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

to

C:\Program Files\OldFirefox

(D) Run the installer you downloaded in step (A). It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

Does a cleanly reinstalled Firefox start up normally??

Note: Some plugins may exist only in that OldFirefox folder. If something essential is missing, look in these folders:

  • \OldFirefox\Plugins
  • \OldFirefox\browser\plugins

Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Do you have nvidia's network access manager or forceware network manager software installed? Disable / remove it.

Well, I followed all your stages and it doesn't work, sorry. Thanks!

I don't know the details of how Windows runs on MacOS X. That could be a factor.

One reason for recent crashes on Windows is a problem with the Nvidia/ForceWare Network Access Manager. For example: Firefox still not working after uninstall and reinstall. IE works.

What was the last version of Firefox that worked normally?

OK, so I did a crash report successfully since my Firefox crash and not working.

I'll post the last 5 crash reports with the last one on top, so someone can tell me what's wrong and hopefully makes me able to use it again.

Here it goes :

Crash ID: bp-7f23b753-4e6e-49df-a0e0-6155a2151227 Crash ID: bp-8044cb08-7a4b-429c-ae13-326642151219 Crash ID: bp-f229a32c-04e3-4509-9e84-d1d322151223 Crash ID: bp-f51dde68-f82f-4bd5-a46f-aff5b2151203 Crash ID: bp-47a214ec-82aa-4bfe-ab35-9c3662151224

Thanks for guidelines & help!

And A Good Year to you :)

Actually, you mentioned doing a clean reinstall in your original question. If Firefox 43.0.3 won't run, try installing 43.0.2 from here (click into the folder for your preferred language):

It Finally Worked!

I did the scan, but it said that anything was alright.

So I checked and realized that my Firefox was 43.0.2 and not the latest 43.0.3.

Which made me do the "OldFirefox" renaming of my Mozilla Firefox, before as a measure of safety.

I then dld and run and install of y 43.0.3 Firefox file, and finally I started it in safe mode to be sure, it finally opened, and after it opened normally still...

Thanks everyone, hope it'll not happen again! :)
