All addons never come back, help!!!!
since Firefox 41.0.2, all my addons are gone. I've patiently strictly followed all the offered advices (refresh, trouble shooting, new profile, completely un- +new install) and reinstall my 30 addons >40 times without any success, the addons came back 2-4 time after restarting, gave me FALSE hope and disappeared again.
A side catastrophe is, "firefox.ex -p or -ProfileManager" only opened a new firefox start page, but no more leads me to the Profile Manager, like at the 1st time. Is there any other way to open the file manager?
I guess many successful pp do get the same problems again & again after a while like me?? Is it a bug problem of Firefox 41.0.2 without any fix? Should we keep losing time making effort or better wait for a newer version? I need my old addons back for my job asap, I'm very thankful for any help

I was such in RAGE, that after installation +restart, i regedited and killed hundreds of "firefox" keys +folders -- then restart, and clean the registry of my laptop with CClean, restart -- new install firefox +restart -- open the new firefox, 30 pages for extension opened asking me for enable all them, I clicked all on yes, restart, fine, all addons are there -- But after I restarted Firefox, all Addon completely disappeared again.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end of the Search bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also delete possible addons.json and addons.sqlite files.
You can also check for problems with preferences.
These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.

Thanks Fred, I'm exhausted since 2 weeks sitting on these issues... :').. very less hope that deleting the extension registries would help, after I completely UN-installed and cleaned the registry per hand and per CClean. When re-install Firefox, it'll re-throw these "bugs (?)" in the profile folder again, but I'll give it a try in the hopelessness.
4 of the extensions still work in the background, but just don't show up in the Add-o Manager.
Other option would be UN-install v.41.0.2 and new install an older version?
