Why does Modzilla ask for plugin to play MP3 when Quicktime is built into OS X

Updated to latest OS X and Modzilla (41). Modzilla plays MP3's fine if I go to a site and click the mp3 link or MP3 file! However, On my pages when that are set up via JavaScript to play MP3 files automatically I get the horrible "Plug-in needed". Go to the plug-in page an try everything and zip... Still get "Plug-in needed". My other NON-updated Modzilla machine works just fine.

I was under impressions that QuickTime was built into OS X?

Really lost (Oh, everything works as expected in Chrome)
