Did a fresh install. Didn't work. Switched to Chrome, didn't have this issue. I will just have to use Chrome for now.

Apparently, whenever I click the home icon it opens both google and yahoo spigot as well.

You can check for recently installed suspicious or unknown extensions.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if any suspicious software shows up.

  • Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program
  • Click the Installed column to sort by this heading

I kinda get the feeling you didn't really read the question.

This is a FRESH install. Listed above is everything installed on the computer.

I do not have a toolbar.

This article - http://www.spigot.com/about/contact-us/uninstall-spigot-toolbar/ - didn't help you at all?

How about this one? http://malwaretips.com/blogs/searchsettings-exe-removal/

Take a very close look at all the 'stuff' you installed, with one or more being a potential source for Malware. Without commas or hyphens between the run-on posting of that information, it is hard to pull out each specific program name to try to research it via Google or other search engine using the "remove" prefix for a search.

General Malware troubleshooting is described here: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware

Yahoo spigot (spigot-yhp-ff) doesn't come by its own. This should either be caused by a Firefox extension installed in the Firefox profile folder or installed globally by other software.

Did you look in the Windows Control Panel?

Did you instal Firefox from the Mozilla server?

When I typed up the list of everything installed, each item was in a column. Apparently, mozilla support took it upon itself to make it one long sentence. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ That is the web address according to my history for where I got firefox from. Yes, I looked in the control panel, there are no Spigot related applications. I even tried several guides to remove it, all failed to do so. I will remove firefox completely, do another install of it, test it out, report back. Oh, and that link you gave me is for uninstalling their toolbar. Like stated, I do not have their toolbar.
