I did the same thing in IE 11 and it posted my PDF form to print. So this issue is Firefox related only.

Firefox 40.03 RC doesn't crash plugin container but I still can't see the PDF preview from my intranet.

The IE Tab 2 add-on has not been updated since December 2013 and other users have reported that it interferes with the ability to edit bookmarks starting in Firefox 40. It might be broken even more than we have heard so far. For now, you may simply want to use IE directly for IE-only sites.
