Why does it just keep saying "Downloading Firefox" for hours?
I am downloading from Explorer. It just keeps saying Downloading Firefox after I double click on the installer. It goes on for hours and hours. It is ironic that it tells me that "you're about to enjoy the very latest in speed, flexibility and security so you're always in control." Please help.

That's a hard question to answer, since it could be a particular download server at fault, or maybe your security software.
If you are downloading the "stub" installer from the main page, could you try getting the "full" installer from this page (scroll down to your preferred language):
