Hello,
If you do not remember downloading from mozilla.org, please download a new copy:
Is it your home page that keeps getting changed? First look for any Yahoo Toolbar applications and uninstall them. Then look for any suspicious extensions in:
- Tools (or ) > Add-ons > Extensions
You can then reset your home page, search settings and new tab page back to default with the Search Reset Tool extension. After installing, it will set reset the preferences then uninstall itself. If your preferences seem to still revert back to Yahoo, please see the article How to fix preferences that won't save.
If all of your options have failed, you can reset Firefox. The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information. Note: After resetting Firefox, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.
