When I run my Norton Anti Virus, I keep getting this virus on my computer (SAPE.Heur.4eb5) on the firefox_setup.exe and firefox_setup.exe(1) file.

I cant locate these files when I search my PC

Only firefox install are Firefox setup stub 32.0.3 Firefox_setup_stub_30.0

Any help with resolving will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Norton probably quarantined those files (for good reason). You can check what is in your quarantine in your Norton interface

The latest Firefox version is 33.1. Make sure that you download Firefox from Mozilla as downloading from other sites can have Firefox bundled with malware or adware:

If you still have the download links for the installers that were infected, please report them here:

No recent versions of Firefox from mozilla.org has ever been found to have a virus. If you downloaded them from a third party site then there is no guarantee they are the same clean versions from mozilla.org

Also some anti-virus clients have been having false positives on the stub installer ever since it existed as of Firefox 18.0 for Windows back in January 2013.
