Apparently this has been a common problem for months( if not years). Should I just accept it or use another browser?

Are you still in safe mode? If Firefox is running normal without Hardware Acceleration, please flag that message as Solved Problem so others with the same problem will know how you fixed your system.

Does the crash happen in a different browser? Are Flash and Firefox both on the latest version? (Just an observation, you might want to stick with FF 31 since people are having problems on 32)

It happens only in Firefox-version FF31.

I have only had one crash with my Mac-many more with my old PC. However none of the 3 results start with bp- C016DDB9-7253-4E49-BA4E-9CA8E01DA161 86A69089-1307-4C6F-BCA5-A64BCA6E033B EC226485-6BF3-4582-B731-C61F7D77E6C3

Open a new window or tab. In the address bar, type about:crashes. Note: If the report does not have BP in front of the numbers, click it and select Submit.

I'll try this. Since the crashes didn't happen daily, it'll take awhile to know if this advice solves my problem. (I did turn off the hardware acceleration on my PC , but the crashes continued.)

more options

Post new crashes as that happen.

Will do. Thanks again for your help.
