My Firefox is showing deprecated in brackets?
Hello, I am writing to inquire about the fact that my Firefox install on both my Android devices shows the app as being (depracated) in the settings menu. My phone is the Nexus 4 by LG and Goggle. My other device is the Asus TF-201 tablet.
I've been a big fan and long time user of Mozilla, way back to when it was Netscape. I was using SeaMonkey until the very end and just loving every minute! I've been tab browsing for years now, can't stand Explorer.
Thanks for the great browser and I hope nothing serious is going on with my Android Firefox browser, as I use it on my windows laptops as well, but do not see the (deprecated) part anywhere.
Regards,
Pierre.

This is the Firefox Sync (deprecated) account. In Firefox 29 Mozilla released a new version of Firefox Sync. The older style accounts continue to work for now but at some time in the future the servers will be retired. It is recommended that you upgrade to the new Sync. See the link below for details.
