FireFox Browser messed up my Internet Download Manager and made it impossible to copy and paste from MS WORD to my emails. Once I uninstalled IDM, I was able to copy and paste. I could not even open a picture in another TAB as before. So the browser was updated and messed everything up. I tried the MS EDGE browser, and it functioned like FireFox browser use to as of today.

I am facing an issue with Firefox where every time the browser updates, all of my accounts get logged out, including YouTube, ChatGPT, and other websites. I have already tried repairing, uninstalling, and reinstalling Firefox, but the problem still persists.

When I got Firefox, I had a Win 10 computer. I was able to use Win 11 for several years. Why cannot I have Win 11 instead of Win 10 and its nagging? I asked for the most recent software, which was provided, but it is still for Win 10. Your website said to go to Microsoft if I got it that way instead of Mozilla. That was years ago, and I don't remember which way I first got it. Microsoft just referred me back to Mozilla. I tried to find something in my profile that I could change, but I didn't see that there.

I use Firefox frequently as it is the most useful browser I have. I want to keep a clean desktop and do not have icons on my desktop. Every time Firefox updates, it places an icon on my desktop. I do not want it there and delete it. It is very, very annoying to have to delete every time there is an update. How can I keep that from putting it on my desktop? If the thinking is that if it gets put there, I will use it, that will be what keeps me from using it. If I cannot find a way to stop it, I will remove the program altogether and figure out a way to do the things I currently do with Firefox. Please let me know how to accomplish keeping my desktop clean.

Dear Firefox friends, I am rather computer illiterate and use the internet only for emails and purchasing from Amazon. I have avoided installing Firefox updates, as they disable my sound and change language to Albanian, where I live, but don’t speak Albanian. Can you solve this, or will I have to just avoid installing updates? I have no concern for security; anyone can hack into anything they want, but it will do them no good; I don’t have anything that is sensitive, and my bank has everything well secured (and minimal funds anyway). Do you have a permanent solution – I don’t want to fix every update? I know you hate non-nerds like me, but I'm 80, and have neither the time nor inclination to be one!!!!
