My Firefox sync stopped working after the latest update. Bookmarks are not syncing between my desktop and laptop. I have tried signing out and back in but it still does not work. Any suggestions?

After updating Firefox to the latest version, my bookmarks are no longer syncing across devices. I have Firefox installed on Windows 11 and Linux, and the sync was working fine before the update. I have tried signing out and back in to my Mozilla account but the issue persists. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi I noticed that some old links in my history are automatically deleted. How to configure expiration rules (if possible) in order to keep links forever, until manual deletion? I know that links can be saved in the bookmarks, but when browsing the Internet, unless bookmarking everything :(, no one knows if a link can be useful in the future.

This started since Firefox 153.0 (Debian package).

When I open Firefox for the first time after a reboot, it opens my latest tab but all the other tabs on that window are lost, and they show as "ghost tabs" as seen in attached image.

No other issue, other windows are preserved properly when I Ctrl + Shift + N

Sometimes, the bookmarks toolbar disappear and the history list became hidden for no clear reason. Then, after I reboot my laptop and log in again, everything is back to normal.

Hello I am using Google Flow on my Linux PC and when going to edit scenes I get an error about a missing Codec. If I use Brave browser works fine so this makes me think this is not an OS issue but browser.

last year I deleted my paypal account. Before that I deleted all entries and connections to abonnements in paypal. A few days ago i received an e-mail from Mozilla that I should pay my VPN abonnement. I would like to do so, but after logging in, I was shown an error message: "Invalid payment information. There is a problem with your account. Manage payment method."

When I go to "Manage payment methods," no options for other payment methods appear, only a PayPal link. What should I do now?

I am using Firefox on a LLinux Mint 22.3 - MATE 64-bit operating system.

Recently, I went to www.homedepot.com. The page did not fully load. It just kept trying to load the page. I waited for a few minutes and tried to do a search for an item I wanted. I got a message that indicated: "OOPs! some went wrong. Try refreshing the page."

I tried refreshing the page. I got the same situation. The page would only partially load and each time I did a search, I got the same "Opps!" message.

So, I went into setup and deleted my cache. This did not help. I also uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it. That still did not help.

I started up Google Chrome. I went to the site and it worked just fine. So there is something wrong with Firefox.

Hello Mozilla VPN Support,

I recently purchased Mozilla VPN and installed it on my system using the Flatpak version.

My operating system is **Linux Mint 22.2**.

The problem is that the VPN connects successfully to any server, but after a short time it disconnects automatically. This happens with every server I try.

Interestingly, if I use the Mozilla VPN browser extension, it works correctly and stays connected. However, the browser extension does not provide access to all the countries that are available in the full VPN application.

Could you please help me determine why the Flatpak application keeps disconnecting and whether this is a known issue with Linux Mint 22.2 or the Flatpak version?

I run normal firefox on linux. Fully up-to-date. Every time I quit the app, it reverts to a version of my profile from a month ago, and loads all the tabs I had open then, and then receives all the tabs that I sent to the device in the interim (~1 month). As I speak, it just caught the 60 or 70 tabs in this window.

I tried changing the name of my profile folder to randomstring.defaultOLD and changed one of the backups to randomstring.default. This didn't change the behavior. I'm still stuck in the loop. I saved my tabs with onetab, because firefox isn't remembering my session anymore. I thought it was something to do with updates, like it only loses its mind upon updates, but that's not true. It thinks it's updating firefox EVERY TIME, because the one time it's loading to 1 month ago it was updating, but I'm 100% sure there are no updates to firefox in my linux. It's just hallucinating.

The articles on restoring from backup are outdated. They say to use an html file. There is no html file. It's just folders for profiles, not html files. HELP!

When I frequently turn off my computer using the system unit's power button, meaning a quick shutdown, after several such shutdowns, when I launch the browser, I'm prompted to log in again. Bookmarks that weren't synced disappear. And I'm also logged out of all the websites I was logged into, forcing me to log in again. Cachyos Linux.

I open Extensions and I can't find my extension so I open manage extensions and it shows but it's not letting me use it the image that is roblox unfriender is the one not showing up and the picture of 2 extensions is the ones showing up don't roast me I'm a new user
