the color layers have shifted during the playing of videos, mainly youtube. This started a couple of months ago. There is a green line on the bottom of the screen and a definite shift in the colors on everything.

For about two months, video quality has been persistently low for me on Youtube. Quality options are limited to 360p and I am unable to change it. Additionally, I am unable to play video on other platforms such as Vimeo, Pinterest and other streaming sites. Sites return errors such as 'Player is unable to play video at this time' or error code 102630. I have refreshed my cache and reinstalled Firefox and neither have resolved the issue. Notably, this issue does not occur on other browsers such as Chrome or Microsoft Edge. As far as I know my drivers are up to date and the Windows Media Feature Pack is installed, although it shouldn't be an issue seeing as sites work on other browsers. The issue also persists in troubleshooting mode. I've gone through the console and included images of some interesting errors that might be of use, although I don't have the technical knowledge to know what they mean. I am using Tor nowadays because I get a trojan horse or other possible threats, every time using Firefox. I use ClamTk on my HP computer with Linux Mint 21.1 installed.

These are the 3 files that usually turn up after a full scan with ClamTk:

Mozilla Firefox PUA.Win.Trojan.Xored-1 Mozilla Firefox PUA.Html.Exploit.CVE_2012_ Mozilla Firefox PUA.win.Exploit.CVE_2012_none

I found out when my website turned out to be hacked, so I installed the ClamTk virus scanner.

After opening Firefox and then minimizing/closing it, there is a corner of an advertising page remaining visible on lower right of home screen. Normally an ad for something like Norton or similar. Can be eliminated by right click on title bar. How do I keep it from appearing.

I had an email [edited] @drowlin.tech which I no longer use. It was connected to a firefox account, which is now redundant. The email I now use is [edited] @gmail.com. I have tried to get the account closed, but security checks have prevented me from doing so. The same for the email [edited] @yahoo.co.uk, the firefox account it is connected to, is also redundant.

     Any help to close these accounts would be much appreciated.

Another problem I have is I had two aliases [edited] @relay.firefox.com and [edited] @relay.firefox.com used in an early version of Monitor both of which I want to discontinue. I am trying to have a biometric authorization with touch ID on Mac, and it says on the website that the option should pop up when i go to the password settings, but it doesn't, and I don't know how to do it otherwise, or if I should use an extension for example. i keep typing my issue that i want help with and you keep bringing me back to this page but offer no resolution to my issue. i simply want to know how to RESOLVE the data breaches thta firefox found . when i click on the link RESOLVE DATA BREACHES and it asks me for the email concerned and then says i need to log in to my firefox account. it simply repeats that it found 4 data breaches in one of my emails. but does not give directions of HOW to remove./resolve these breaches. so i am still left with the four data breaches. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW I SHOULD RESOLVE THE DATA BREACH ISSUE.

Hello! I have Firefox and Google set to Dark Mode. Suddenly this week, when I do a search, the answers are coming up not in dark mode. I can hit refresh several times and it will eventually go back to being Dark.

I have checked and I am running the lastest version of Firefox and my Windows is up to date.

Does anyone have any ideas?

My primary email that I used for my FireFox account was discontinued years ago and I no longer have access to it. I need to add my new email address, but the settings will not allow me to until I input the confirmation code that is sent to my discontinued email address. How do I fix this?

I have the same issue as this guy https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1402931#question-reply Exceptions. I have a new Dell pc and my Mozilla browser is 118. I have had this issue from the time that I purchased the new pc and attached it to my old Dell monitor. I've had Dell and Geek Squad involved both before and after I found this guy's fix in the Mozilla faq's. Before finding that I have had the new pc checked, the old and new monitor checked. All turned out fine system wise. So first suggestion from Dell - new cord - HDMI to VGA - didn't help. New monitor. Didn't help. Finally after much purchasing of technology and no changes a Dell tech was on using Edge browser. I realized that the monitor was perfect and told them so. So they tried Chrome and still the monitor text was fine. Firefox - back to blotchy. That's when I did the search in Mozilla faq's and found this other issue and "fix". I talked a Geek Squad tech into changing my display setting to "Extend Display" in Windows. Text totally disappeared from the monitor. So I've run out of options other than to set up everything under Chrome or Edge which I really don't want to do. But I may have to. In the meantime I've proved that I didn't need a new monitor or a new cord.

Whenever I try to sign into any Google site whether it is Gmail, Google, Youtube. or even signing into a site with a google account like Pinterest I get sent to the google help page taking about clearing cache & cookies. Even from there when i click sign in it just refreshes the page never actually taking me to the sign in page.

I recently purchased a Sandisk Ultra Flair flash drive because I wanted to password protect some files. The flash drive requires me to download the Private Access software from the Western Digital web site. When I try to do this the Mozilla browser states "Malicious Download Detected" and cancels the download. Does anyone have any suggestions? I went to the Privacy and Security part of Settings, and unchecked the Deceptive Content setting, but Firefox still would not let me download the software. Perhaps the change to the setting I tried did not register in Settings, but here I am asking for your help. Thanks.

My Firefox browser always shows nine icons for sites I regularly visit. That's nice. Lately, though, icons for sites I do not want keep popping up displacing ones I do. I delete them and get my favorites back but it's really annoying. Can you stop this?

Today, out of the blue, my email screen adjusted itself to be very, very tiny. I almost need a magnifier to read it! I cannot find how to put it back to normal!

I have removed and downloaded Firefox for windows 10 4 times. each time i try to run it I get the following error "The file or directory is corrupted or un-readable"

I use private browsing mode exclusively. For years I've used Tools > Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Data > Clear > Clear Now to clear the history, cache, cookies and so on during a session without having to close the browser, or so I thought. However, yesterday I ran into a situation (dealing with tech support for software) where it became painfully obvious that that process was NOT clearing out the history. So, a couple of questions:

1. Why, why, does it take 6 clicks to do that, instead of, say, just one click on a button on the toolbar?

2. Why didn't that clear out everything?

3. Where can I look to see whether all that stuff is cleared?

I have cleared the cache, cookies and history. I can use Google Chrome just fine, but do not want to. They only way that I can get to any website is via Troubleshooting Mode. This is getting quite frustrating. I see that others are having the same problem. I use the Standard for browsing. This has been going on for a couple weeks. At first, I tried to get it to work by changing to No Proxy, it was working. Then it did not. I have read through what others are going through and they seem to have the same problem. There has to be some way to fix this. I even ran a complete virus scan that takes up to 10 minutes, and it did not find an issue, so I think this is a major bug on the Moz://a side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You guys are the best!! Thank you.
