Let me draw your attention that the same page correctly works in Internet Explorer, and the same audio-file plays without problems. So the problem is not in the file, but in the browser. Please help.

I get this in the Web Console when the player vanishes: "All candidate resources failed to load. Media load paused."

Firefox seems to be timing out each media request after about 2 seconds. Not sure if that is too impatient or whether there is something about the request that the server does not like but is not responding to.

Both mp3 file and ogg file play for me if I use the Inspector to open the link in a new tab. Only when they are on that page then they do not play although they play a cached version up to the point where I paused the play in the new tab.
