Hello everybod,

google cache doesn't work via firefox any more. At least not for me. I HAVE emptied firefox cache, have restarted my computer, and it still doesn't work. It doesn't work via email explorer either. I'm asking here because google, as we all know, has no customer service, so I don't know who else to turn to. Got any info or advice? Please???

yesterday my hard disk crash after setting up my computer when i try to synchronize Mozilla it didnot recover my bookmark nd my history......i am very worried...

following are my step which i do to recover my bookmarks

1 :Click Create a New Account 2: enter my email address ,password nd recovery key 3: in sync option i chose "replace all data on this device with sync data" i also tried "merge this device data with sync data"

but it did not solve my problem plz help as it contain last 2 year bookmarks.....:-(

Пользуюсь версией FF 20.0.1 После перехода на 20 версию стал наблюдать такую проблему: ссылки вне браузера (например, из qip) в первый раз открывает очень долго (иногда доходит до 30-60 сек). Дальше уже быстрее, но не мгновенно - где-то до 5 секунд уходит после клика до открытия. Ссылки обычные - http://

As the description says, I am unable to turn on the password manager. I have tried disabling all of my add-ons/extensions, and turning off my firewall. After that, I tried restarting the browser, and still getting the same result. Here is a screen cap:

The box is there, but it is shaded, and I am unable to check the box to activate it. I am running Firefox v21.0. I have two Addons: Adblock Plus, and Adblock Plus Popup Blocker. I simply use Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials. But, as I said before, I turned all of those things off and I am still getting this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

^This message comes up when I try to open Firefox on my MacBook Pro. I've been using it a long time but it crashed during an update. I've tried the other troubleshooting issues, and I do not seem to have any files in the Library or Application Support. I am NOT a techie and I have no idea what I am doing. Please help! ASAP!

I accidently hit "enlarge window," and now the Firefox window fills up the whole computer screen and I absolutely cannot resize it. Since I have a Mac, I first called Mac Support and they worked with me for an hour and a half trying absolutely everything they knew. Couldn't do it !

I have the 21.0 Firefox browser in a 10.6.8 Mac operating system.

I can slide the screen around, but I cannot make it be the smaller size it was before. How do I fix this ?

Please answer in kindergarten simple language as I am an "old" person and just don't understand so many of the technical computer terms

Good day to all. My Firefox (upgraded to v21 a few months ago) has been giving me some strange problems. Most of them are just bothersome. The problem I want to ask about is the spell checker. When I right click on a web page, I get the usual menu, but I also get choices that I think are coming from the spell checker. It does not happen all the time, but when it does I will get the correction list (sometimes a long list). The funny thing is, I get this when I right click on text I marked, a web link I right clicked, I even get it when I right click on an empty area of the web page. I tried turning the spell checker off, but the correction list still shows up. Another problem I have is with the control buttons; <Home>, <Page Up>, <End>, and <Page Down>. They will work fine on one page, but not on another page at the same site. Sometimes when I press the <Page Up>, the browser goes to the top of the current page. At one time, I had problems with the Adblock-Plus add-on. I would start Firefox, but Adblock-Plus would be gone. I think I fixed the problem. See the link below. For over a year now (since version 13 - I think) I have had to stop using FF because it crashes upon start-up. Ever once in a while, I uninstall it and install the latest version (currently have 21) and what happens is when I start it up for the first time, I am able to use it. But once I close the program and start it up again, it just crashes upon start-up every time. So, I cannot use FireFox on my system at all.

Even though in the past hour I have tried opening FF 21 over 20 times, there are no crash report logs to be found in my application data folder for FF.

Please help me troubleshoot and fix this issue.

when i search something from google search (in a webpage) it goes to the yahoo search website and show the results!

1.) there is no extension on add-ons, anything to do with search or yahoo 2.) i have tried reset the keyword.url from configuration 3.) i also tried to remove yahoo search engine from searchbar (didn't help)

No help. Everytime i search something in google, it goes to the yahoo search webpage! how to get rid of this yahoo rubbish?

I have no idea how it came. Maybe something to do with vlc codec pack? "Myfreecodec" that i tried to use when trying to play some mp4-file... i think i haven't installed anything else lately... And i always uncheck the "add this one on your browser..."

sync keeps coming up with an error and when I click the appropriate help option it takes my to services.mozilla.org and gives me the "invalid security certificate" page. The technical details box says:

services.mozilla.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names:

 www.mozilla.com , mozilla.com  

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

This started happening on both my syncd accounts at more or less the same time.

While I imagine it's more-or-less safe to allow this, I'd really prefer not to do this without some confirmation and/or some steps to take to just stop it happening without doing this.

Hi All, Very fond of Firefox browser and would like to know what the Best Version for my Lap-Top is suggested. Currently running Win Vista Business, Dell Inspiron 6400, 2GB ram, Intel 2.00GHz, 32-bit. Due to the fact this system is older, I have not upgraded to the the most recent 21.0 Not to mention the ad-dons that may or may-not be affected. Current version is: 18.0.1 and seems to run very well. I have been getting notices of a New update available for 21.0 Not Sure why. As an average computer user I hope to inspire some assistance to determine my best course of action.

I have been at a site for a few years and this morning. Suddenly, when I tried to get on, I got the message about Adobe Flash. I went through the instructions 3 times. The program states it has installed. I checked all forum articles and removed existing AF. I tried again, with same result. Even the shockwave flash in plugs is gone and does not show up when searched for. This has happened in the distant past.

FF suddenly stops loading any sites and if it is closed, you can't launch it again (displays an error message). You can't kill its process from Task Manager either. While All other browsers are working like charm, FF keeps dead, that's of course until Windows is restarted and FF is resurrected .. again.

I've been using firefox for a really really long time, and I play quite a lot of facebook games. Yesterday morning, things were working perfectly fine, but later in the day, I suddenly started getting these shockwave errors. I can't recall downloading anything and I must have uninstalled and reinstalled the flash player at least 8 times. It's honestly starting to frustrate me. I love firefox, but if the browser refuses to work, I probably won't be using it for much longer.

This has happened 9 times in a row. I also restarted my computer overnight and that did not fix anything. I believe Firefox had updated just before this starting happening yesterday. Button appears in the right lower corner to the left of the scrollbar when scrolling down long-ish webpages. I find it tremendously annoying as it covers the information underneath and when I hit it accidentally it obviously makes the whole webpage jump back to the top. Any idea how I can get rid of it ? Thanks heaps for your help !
