I was lissening to online radio. Firefox needed to update. After the latest update the windows media player plugin dissapeared from the add-on list, while still being installed correct. I reinstalled it, but that didn't work. I replaced/deleted some files in firefox as suggested for similiar problems, but that didn't work either. Now I can't play wmp files anymore on firefox.

I hope u can help me solve this problem.

One page only on my website, one that contains a lot of information, when viewed in Firefox but not in any other browser, looks normal until I scroll past approximately halfway down the page, at which point all the text on the page becomes covered in what appears to be a blue background. The page content is still there but obviously can't be read because the text colours are not compatible with the background.

Firefox suddenly has become very slow. It takes too much time to load all websites and even the typed words and scrolling has a great delay in appearing. It becomes unresponsive very often. I tried reinstalling it and even reset it. Its becoming a pain to use this to surf the net. Please do help!!

In newer versions of FF the bookmarks toolbar is off by default, as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars?esab=a&as=aaq

I know how to re-enable it manually, which I have to do every single time I start FF. How can I change the default to "on"?

Every time when I start Firefox (FF) I receive a message about opening an application/octet-stream. Asking whether I want to open it or save it. If I don't respond (which is what I do) a few moment later I receive a message about not being able te save a file. If I respond to this with [OK] both messages disapear and I can go on using FF. These messages don't limit FF. Or make it impossible to work with FF. They are just annoying. How can I prevent these messages from still appearing?

the above targeted ad comes to every page even in firefox.com how this comes and how to fix

not to many details except safari runs at 24 mbs download compared at firefox at 10 area... is there something that needs to be tweeked ... I checked around preferences... I don't think its my comp thats the problem after all one is working compared to the other .... Yes i have ran a virus checker . and it came up with nothing.... I have followed the instruction on backing up / restoring firefox profile.

But when i do copy everything from the old profile into the new profile whilst firefox is closed and when i do open firefox. Nothing changes, i don't see my bookmarks or anything else. I have tried to delete the new profile and creating another new one but that doesn't help, also tried the troubleshooting information and reset firefox but still no help

Is there something that i am missing?

FF21. I have icons from several extensions showing. In customize mode, thee rightmost three are locked in place and grayed out with diagonal stripes. What does this mean? How can I free them?

while on the site my cat sat on my keyboard reducing the size of the screen. the smaller size only shows on this site. when i go other places the size is ok, but the gsn size is alot smaller and it prevents me from playing the games because i cant get to the start button on most of them. need to make the whole screen normal size again. tried resolution and it did not work

Formatting on several websites is incorrect. Everything loads on the left hand side one after the other. Clearing 'Everything' from the search history fixes the problem temporarily, for a very short time. I've been using Firefox for years and I've only recently been getting this problem. It's been happening on both Windows 7 and 8. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but this problem has only arose since I upgraded to fiber power broadband, 100Mb. The link below is just one of many.

I've just updated FF to v21 and whenever I click a direct link to an mp3 file, it starts to play automatically in the browser instead of downloading. I'm aware I could right click on the links to save the content but previous versions of FF would just start to download automatically so I would like to get that behaviour back if possible please.

The 'application' settings for the file types is already set to 'save file' and disabling all the plugins and extensions doesn't change anything either.

Any help would be cool.

In Firefox 21 for Mac OS, there is no longer any preview image, which is usually a little screenshot of the left end of the toolbar, shown for a theme when you click the "More" link to get more information about the theme. The only image there now is the theme icon. Where did that preview go and why is it gone? The preview images are still in the .jar files in all the themes I have, so they are still available.

This seems to be a common problem that I can't fix with Java or Flash updates. And I don't have Norton Anti-Virus to turn off. I'm on Windows 7.

Firefox frequently crashes when I close it, or when I close a tab, or even sometimes when it gets stuck in bookmarks, strangely. Here are the recent crash reports - from the last 2 weeks:

I realize there was some huge Java exploitation a few months ago, but I had hoped the upgrades would fix things. I suspect it's crashing b/c some malware is still working on the tab or window I'm trying to close. I use Spybot and MWB to try to keep the browser protected.

Any ideas?

This reproducibly happens when I open a private window, then log in to Gmail. It will automatically switch back to the non-private windows about 5 seconds after pressing the sign in button (and I'm not pressing any other buttons or moving the mouse). But it doesn't only happen with gmail; it happens with any normal website (but I can't pinpoint exactly when).

hi i had Avast Ad Blocker in my add ons. i tried to allow the ad blocker in my website, bambissitnshop.com & weebly where my website is thru. that worked fine, but the next day, my Avast ad blocker was gone & also gone from the add ons. i have avast internet security. i wrote them & they said it's a firefox problem. they show i still have the ad blocker. can anybody help me ? by the way, love firefox & the security, thank you

When I go to view all of my Downloads I am taken to my Library, but it is completely empty. I get "Organize", "View", and "Import and Backup" but there is nothing that is listed in the boxes. I tried saving a bookmark, but it does not show up here either.

Out of nowhere my page up button now acts like a back button and my page down button does nothing. I am using an ASUS laptop and have had it for 3 years and never had this issue before today.
