My Dashboard for 2 websites have issues when running via Firefox. I get pages which are totally corrupted from what I usually get. What is going wrong with the update?

I've been getting two "this script is running slow" messages a lot lately in Firefox 20.0.1 and Firefox 21. It mostly happens when I'm accessing webmail from Optimum or when I'm at www.bufferapp.com but it's not limited to those two web sites.

The one script it says is running slow is https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8/jquery.min.js:2 and the other is https://d389zggrogs7qo.cloudfront.net/js/app.min.275befaba77ad321bc495dd90bfd558b.js:75

the only solution I find in the knowledge base for the former is for Macs, not Windows 7 machines. I can't find anything for the latter error. It happens A LOT. Any suggestions? I've updated Flash and Shockwave. No change

All drag-and-drop features stopped working on my FF 21.

That is, I can no longer: - Drag items to bookmarks or rearrange the bookmarks - Drag words to the search box or links to the URL box - Change the order of tabs - Rearrange items on toolbars - Move text in text boxes - etc.

Safe mode exhibits the same problems.

Please advise.

Good Evening, this program crashes at least three times a day. I do not understand why this is happening, I took my computer the the Geek Squad and to Staples and they both told me it was the soft ware,( Fire Fox) not my computer , I keep it up to date, I also run virus checks on my whole system. I go to a website that requires a Java plug-in. I downloaded the latest update (21) for Java 7 from Oracle but when I go to Add-Ons>Plugins in Firefox 20 the Java plug-in doesn't appear and when I do a search at the Get Add-ons nothing that mentions the Java Plug-in shows up. Where can I get the plug-in required to use with JRE7u21?

am not sure how or when AVG somehow managed to "get permission" to install and corrupt my firefox browser, but it cannot be deleted now.

going into the add ons and tools, disabling AVG has no effect. in add/remove programs there is no AVG to be found.

since nothing within firefox can disable or block or remove it, it appears to be a virus or malware. have removed or disabled and restarted the browser, again and again and again. rebooted the pc 2 times after making SURE it was disabled. still there.

it does STUPID searches, type in something and it gives worthless answers. now each time I have to manually type in www.google.com to get to that site to be able to enter the search info. if I need to uninstall this worthless AVG thing by opening up the hard drive and taking sandpaper to those shiny disk things inside to scrape away AVG, Im going to do it.

if anyone knows how to get a version of firefox that DOES NOT HAVE AVG? then I want to download it. if there is a driver or something that will be able to block AVG from attaching like a parasite to firefox? then I want to download that as well

I'm getting emails every day with people complaining that my site data isn't verified - I'm being reported to blacklists and Google and Bing. Firefox is generating a message saying my "site cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified" and that "they should report this broken site".

What???? There is nothing wrong with my site - it works perfect in every other browser out there.

Why is FF attempting to add HTTPS to all my urls? I know I can resolve this on my browser installation - but how does it get fixed so my visitors who use FF can get to my site?

Yesterday, I bought a new Samsung Series 5 with Windows 8. I installed Mozilla Firefox 21.0, but started having a problem with it. Every 30 minutes or about 20 webpages, I have to clear the cache for a page to display properly, otherwise they will display with text to the left of the screen and with Times New Roman font.

- I have Avast! 8, but I do not think it is causing the problem. - I am 100% it is not a virus/malware. - I checked my plug-ins in Mozilla. None of them seem to be causing the problem. - It is a Mozilla Firefox only problem. (I am not having this problem in Chrome). - CTRL + F5 solves the problem, but I do not want to have to click that every single webpage I go to. - I have tried the Mozilla Firefox Reset. It did not fix the problem.

there may be plug-ins that I have downloaded that are not doing anything or that I do not even use, If so then I should disable them .

When I right click, the drop down box just shows the entire browser window, this also happens for any other drop down box. If I run my mouse over the drop down box fast enough, it will clear up, for a short time. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing FireFox to no avail.

I changed browser.newtab.url to about:newtab, but everytime I reboot my computer it gets back to about:blank. How can I set the about:newtab to my perm tab page adress when I open a new tabpage?

Mozy failed to backup Firefox files. My bookmarks remain on my 'iphone app'. I've attempted to do syncs, using the supplied recovery codes, only to have them rejected as invalid. When I tried "get a new recovery code" (don't know if this was a mistake or not???) it did supposedly sync but none of the old data loaded. Now, the iphone app (data still intact) is saying "cannot sync" and "incorrect sync key". So, now I'm afraid if I do enable my iphone app to sync, it may erase the data that is still intact (???). "If" I could get the ipnone to pair with the new computer, can I have its data override what is on the new computer? Can I use itunes or icloud to transfer Firefox bookmarks or can I try importing the bookmarks (possibly only from the iphone) into Internet Explorer and then exporting them back to Firefox? Very confused and worried!

When I first downloaded firefox, my Yahoo page worked just fine. In fact I liked it so much better, that I uninstalled my Dolphin browser that I'd been using the last 6 months or so.

For the last few days, the bit at the top of the page (the headlines with pictures that you usually swipe left or right to sift through) there's only been 3 or 4 links. (theres usually 30+) AND when I click on them, they take me to the wrong link.

Reading my yahoo news is a dealbreaker, its what I do on my smoke breaks to kill time at work. I checked on the stock browser that came with my phone (Internet Explorer?) and it works fine there. I can't stand IE, and want to use Firefox. So whats up with this site?

Also, I had to switch to desktop mode just to post this question.. mobile wouldn't load.

I can open my hotmail e-mails in Firefox but every time I try to reply or write a new email, FF crashes :( I am using win xp pro on a dual core intel pc with 4 gb of ram.

It keeps doing this every time I use FF and it's going to make me stop completely if someone doesn't fix it.

I have been in the middle of doing work and it will do this, and I lose my work.

Google chrome is working better. And the only thing wrong is this Adobe Shockwave.
