Firefox 22 is not the most recent version of Firefox. It is not recommended that you you use an older version.
If you still want to download an older version, you can find them here.

What kind of problems do you have with the Firefox 23 release?
If content is missing or otherwise not working when a secure https connection is used then check if there is a shield icon to the left of the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location bar indicating that content is blocked.

It should not be asking users to use an old, outdated, unsupported and insecure version of Firefox.
Note in about a weeks time the Release version will be Firefox 24.
ccsdde.net is the main site, then you can click on canvas on the right hand side..
I did indeed find instructions on your school site to uninstall Firefox 23 and instructions to install Firefox 22
That is not normally considered safe. You may be ok using Firefox 22 on only the school site, but you should be using an updated browser for day to day browsing.
My suggestion is
- Continue using Firefox 23, soon to become Firefox 24 for day to day browsing
- As an additional browser install and use the unofficial Firefox Portable ESR that will use a secure version of Firefox17 that should be compatible with your school site.
(This is not an officially sanctioned and supported method, {unless the school site actively supports ESR use } it is however safer than downgrading to Firefox 22: that is dangerous ! ) - Unfortunately even that will eventually change to ESR 24 so you then should use some other browser entirely if your school site is not updated before that change (next year). Use Safari [or IE] presumably the school site supports those browsers.
