After installing FF21 (win7 pro) when I tried to "bookmark all tabs" from an open tab context menu, instead of the place for the name of the save being blank, it had the name of an old bookmark that seemed to be random. I restarted FF and restarted in Safe Mode, but that did not fix anything. Then I reset FF and that did not fix anything. In fact now when I click Ctrl+Shift+D or use the tab context menu I get a dialog like I am saving a new bookmark, not bookmarking all tabs. There is a place for the Name Location Folder Tags Keyword The only add-ons I activated after doing the reset are Numext 0.7.3, Theme and Font Changer 7.1, and Roboform 7.8.9.5, all of which I have been using for years with no prior problems. Note: After doing the reset, I tried Bookmark all tabs before I enabled any add-ons, and experienced the same problem. I have a screenshot of what I get when I try to use bookmark all tabs.

When in my firefox browser doing a google search, I cant see the adds to the right and on the top of a search page. I have been buying adds on Google's adwords campaign but cant see my own adds. is there a setting I need to correct to be able to view these adds?

firefox, im guessing that now i can ask a question my password problem is solved, at least for support. now do i need another password for general signin. now i have asked for reset instructions twice and was informed that they would be mailed to dnae16@gmail.com and yet i recieved neither one so i think i should state state that address once again for your expected reply and for those in the futur. thank you for your help. I cant see the paid web adds on my Google search pages. I have been buying adds on Google's adwords campaign but cant see my own adds. How can I view the adds to the right and on top of the pages when doing searches. Is their a setting I need to change in firefox to allow these add to show? If so where do I find the setting to do so?

Hi. I am from Chile, I want to help and need to open a topic in the spanish forum, but I CAN'T send the question because I don't know the right answer for the verification question, which says "What color is the animal in the Firefox logo".

This is irritating because many of us have different names for that same color! So I feel frustrated that I can't post my question.

You really need to fix that.

The ONLY thing I wanted to ask in the forum was if I can translate OR put subtitles in a video of Persona (an official Mozilla video), so many more people can understand the video. Can I do it or do I have to ask for a special permission?

I've lost about half an hour just because of that "color of the logo" question....

Whenever I try to post an ad on gumtree, I go to click on the "Add Image" Button and all it does is take me back up to the top of the screen. Doesn't refresh page or anything, just takes me back to top of page.

Any ideas? It's frustrating having to use a different browser just for that.

I installed the FF ver 21 upgrade this morning. Immediately, I am pestered by the Developer Tools panel incessantly opening up, blocking my view and interfering with whatever webpage I have open.

I didn't mess with any Developer Tool settings -- I wouldn't know what to do there anyway.

Judging by the frequent interval with which this interruption is occurring, I strongly suspect that it is linked to another systemwide problem I'm having under Vista, in which the cursor "jumps" at frequent, short intervals. I have not found any solution to the jumping cursor problem.

However, that problem was NOT previously causing the DT window in Firefox to keep opening up unasked.

This is a new problem and it is most definitely coincident with installing the ver. 21 upgrade.

Any suggestions to TURN OFF the DT function, or, anyone know about the weird jumping cursor in Vista?

When trying to view some video's and widgets I get the error message that a plug in is missing. When I click to install the missing plug in it says no suitable plug in was found. This has been going on for a long time now. I have reported it before. These same video's and widgets work perfectly in my other browser but not in Firefox. The problem must be with Firefox. Can this be fixed please?

I recently needed to restore my computer and I decided I'd backup my bookmarks before doing so to save me the trouble of re-adding them all. I followed one of the guides on this website and had my backup file ready to go, but when I went to import/restore them, it wouldn't take the file that was made.

After following the steps of the guide, Firefox created a "Unix Executable file". First I tried to import this file, then I tried to restore to this file through Firefox. After that didn't work, I just double-clicked the file and it opened up a terminal window (I'm on OS X by the way) and spit out some text then an error.

After that I just right clicked the file and tried to open in Firefox. I ended up with a bunch of text going off the side of the screen and after scrolling for a bit I was able to find some URL's to my bookmarks in the code, so the bookmarks are in there.

What can I do to restore these?

I have downloaded and synced both firefox and aurora to my galaxy s3. but the synced bookmarks cannot be found or accessed. what do I do and how do I have an icon on the start up screen or a toolbar to access yhe bookmarks?

I had to reset my browser a few weeks ago & now I can't get imikimi.com to download the full editor to work. It says I'm missing a plugin but when I click to download it doesn't. How do I fix it?

I was lissening to online radio. Firefox needed to update. After the latest update the windows media player plugin dissapeared from the add-on list, while still being installed correct. I reinstalled it, but that didn't work. I replaced/deleted some files in firefox as suggested for similiar problems, but that didn't work either. Now I can't play wmp files anymore on firefox.

I hope u can help me solve this problem.

Firefox orange button has been missing I upgraded to 20.0. I have since installed the next update as well, still no fix on orange button. Research suggested disabling menu toolbar (which is not a solution for me) I tried this, still no orange button. Another recent development is with the all in one sidebar... The only icons showing are "Display you bookmarks," and Google Lite. The buttons are still there, just no identifying information; no icon, no text. I will not reset firefox, to do this would require more time than I can give. I would switch back to Google Chrome if that is truly my only option. I have been using Firefox for 2 years, switching back would be most undesirable. Thank you for any and all feedback.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Firefox

After upgrading to FF 21, search engines no longer appear in the bar on the top right of screen, so no searches are possible. I can navigate to my bookmarks and apparently also to links contained in emails.

If I right-click on the FF icon, and choose the "run as administrator " option, the search engines are there again. I tried deleting the parent.lock file from the profiles folder, as this solution had solved a problem I'd had recently with the previous version of FF (not being able to open FF, and getting the error message about another version of it running, which had to be closed first - but there was no other version running. In that case, too, before finding out about the solution, I was able to open FF by using the "run as administrator" option). However deleting the parent.lock file didn't solve this problem.

I'd be grateful for your help, especially if put in simple terms a not hugely computer-literate person like myself can understand!

After a while not using it, I decided to give Firefox another try. After remembering the hellish issues to get flash going prior (part of the reason I stopped using Firefox for a while), I did a full, clean (down to the registry) reinstall of both Firefox and Flash. I have no flash blockers or ad blockers installed. As soon as I installed the plug in, nothing works just a blank space where the video should be. Tried on multiple sites, same everywhere. I also have IE installed (for work) which has no problems playing the same videos.

I really need a working definitive answer on fixing this issue, before I abandon Firefox all together, which is a shame since I started with Firefox's original beta.

firefox 20 has been hanging constantly with a different script error depending on the site visited. "Script: https://s.ytimg.com/yts/jsbin/www-watch-extra-vflEcdvg9.js:329" was encountered on youtube. I have tried safe mode with ad-ons disabled, reset firefox, rolled back versions of flash and java. nothing has worked. I am currently using google Chrome
