the "signup part" and "connecting with friends" part which are bellow the email or phone and password box they appeared at the top of this page.and i cant see the Facebook logo.what can i do?

No rhyme or reason to this but since the last upgrade, about 50% of the time when I click DOWNLOAD (anything, image, video, a new application I want to install), rather than opening the second pop up to let me rename a file or BROWSE and CHOOSE a specific folder or create a new one as destination, the download process just rolls on and saves to the generic downloads area. Anyone know why?

I loaded a new mozilla firefox after haveing trouble with the old one, after i loaded the new one the menu bar is all black and none of my old bookmarks are there? It is like the display background is black and the options (file edit view history bookmarks tools and help) are also black.

Was just reading a page then FF crashed. Signature says "EMPTY: no crashing thread identified; corrupt dump" Assuming OOM means out of memory, but dump says 158M available, must be too little for whatever background request was being made. Don't know how to tell how much it wanted. Don't know where to look for messages.

I have a large number of saved passwords that i would like to sort into alphabetical order. At the moment, for example, at the top of the list are yourhealthportal.com.au b2c.csair.com and singpet.com. n the Bookmarks menu it is possible to drag and drop items to a different position in the list. Can something like this be done with passwords?

Here is my five reports. Tell me what the problem is so that it can be fixed.

I've gone through all the suggestions, troubleshooting listed here and nothing has worked in stopping this "hanging" business. It started earlier this week with FF16. So I tried uninstalling, clearing out any traces of it, profiles and all. R-installed with the previous extensions, plugins and scripts. Still did it. So I either disabled or uninstalled said add-ons. Still did it. Upgraded to 17, then 18. Same problem. "Not responding" every couple of minutes for just a few seconds, longer when I switched tabs. I'm a heavy tab user, but given the problem, I've gone down to no more than 3 open at the same time. Still hangs. So I decided to do a complete overhaul. Did a reset. I even thought it was my computer (Vista with SP2) which had been working fine and was slowing down around the same time FF was hanging and being a resource hog.

With FF uninstalled, with the help of Microsoft support, I worked on the laptop. Uninstalled my usual programs, including AV (which had avast). Moved all my files to an external hard drive. In essence leaving my computer with bare bones. Did a defrag and a system restore. I reinstalled av, then ran it. All clear. Ran malwarebytes. All clear. Ran registry clean. All fine. So I reinstalled FF18 and did not use any add-ons. Still hanged. Went up to FF19 beta thinking whatever but there is, would be cured. And it worked fine witn no add-ons. So I started installing my usuals, but leaving only the most important ones, ABP, No Script. Was ok so I added greasemonkey, smartest toolbar, download statusbar and unhide passwors. All which I've used for years with no problems. And FF19 worked fine with no hanging for like a day and a half. Today, (jan 24) not only is it haning and not responding again, but it's doing it more frequently and for longer.

FF never has crashed, it just hangs and freezes. My job is ALL online. I don't like Chrome (not user friendly to me). I'd rather avoid using IE. I'm a user of FF since day one, but this is stressing me out because I cannot do my job properly.

What can I do to make it stop? My only other option is to just forget FF and try and get used to Opera.

Now that I think about it, could this hanging problem be related to the Java issue that has come out publicly recently?

I don't know what else to do. I've tried everything that has been written here. Trust me, I've wasted 2 days on this issue. Time I'll never get back and I could've used to do work.

I am a teacher. Our school uses a program called Skyward for grades, attendance, etc. Skyward wants us to use Firefox. My problem is that after my computer updates I cannot log on to Skyward. I have to reset Firefox in order to gain access to Skyward. I don't know if it's my computer, or Firefox. I would like to solve this problem if I could. I would like to use the latest version of Firefox if I can. Thank you for your help. Jennifer Reid

In 'Firefox iCloud Calender -Print Preview shows 7 pages - the first 2 are inked or blacked out the next 5 blank. I have checked Page settings - looked at several similar questions but no replies to date address my problem

Until Firefix activate a fully effective user generated blocking of all the cr*p that we are sent (and pay for) I want to use the above website - however, it has been blocked.

Okay, so I installed a persona/theme on my firefox, for example I have a legend of zelda theme on. It's supposed to show Link on his horse, Hyrule castle, a wolf's head and black and orange colors around it but the only thing I can see is half of Link and the horse and some of the colors. Is there a way to fix this?

Just wondering if you ever heard of or know if it's possible for someone to view property data in the toolbar bookmark area other than looking at the screen? Could Firefox ever be in danger of a virus that could read the bookmark property data?

For about a week now, Firefox has been crashing approximately once a day at seemingly random times. When I restart, the homepage and all search settings have been set to http://proxy.allsearchapp.com/app/start/, forcing me to go into about:config to change them back.

I reset Firefox to its default state, I went into regedit and deleted everything that referenced "All Search", I deleted all cookies and disabled every addon except Adblock, Flash, Silverlight, and Java. I ran several virus scans with Microsoft Security Essentials after updating definitions. It's still happening.

Not sure where to go from this. Help?

I don't have any "out of the norm" add-ons...

I recently experienced Firefox continuously crashing whenever I try to attach a PDF to an e-mail in Yahoo (not a large file size - about 300kb). I checked my add-ons to see if there was an issue there, and noticed there was a message stating "Adobe Acrobat is known to be vulnerable and should be updated message", even though I thought I had already updated it.

I went ahead and re-downloaded anyhow... it successfully installs, and then I still get the same error message.

Furthermore, this issue was recently added on top of my Firefox already running slow and crashing... I often clear my cache and have tried running in safe-mode as well, although this doesn't allow me full capabilities...

The only thing that seems to be different is the issue with the Adobe Add-on and a recent Java update. Are there instabilities in these?

How do I fix the issue with Adobe? I need to be able to upload, download, and view PDFs...
