I've been using Easy Youtube Downloader for years & it never once gave me any trouble. However, all of a sudden it just stopped working. I tried restarting Firefox, restarting my mac, uninstalling & reinstalling the add-on, but every time I try to download a YouTube file into a video or an mp3 I just get redirected to a blank screen. Does anyone know what the problem is & how to fix it?

I am having a hard time importing my bookmarks into a fresh install of Firefox under Mac OS 10.6.8?

I use Xmarks for my bookmark storage.

After installing the Xmarks plug-in and running through the initial sync, Firefox (21) just hangs and I have to force quit when the final bookmark importation is attempted.

I am in touch with Xmarks, but last night I tried something different, I downloaded my bookmarks from Xmarks as a html file and tried importing it manually into FF and the same thing happened, it just hangs, the beach ball spins and I have to force quit?

Any support on this would be greatly appreciated

My engineers have built several websites for me with javascript slideshows with transitions, probably based on JQuery scripts. These scripts worked absolutely fine in Firefox (Mac) when the sites were built but have since latest update to Firefox 21 broken. Engineers say that Firefox has introduced a bug. The strange thing is that one site where the script was broken it is now working again (just checked) but another site (www.woodhousecreative.co.uk) where it used to work is now broken. The scripts are customised per site. Script works fine in Chrome, Safari and Opera (all Mac) and as far as I know in Windows browsers. Is this something Mozilla is aware of and working to fix?

I use to have my history show for the last few months. No it only shows for the last (24) hours. My settings are set to save all history and it is not on Private Browsing Mode. How can I get it back to the original setting?

I have a Mac OS X, version 10.6.8. I'm using Firefox 21.0. I have the box checked to warn me when closing multiple tabs. It does not. Why? Is there anything I can do to make it work correctly? Any information I've been able to find on the internet is for other versions of Firefox and is of no help to me.

I have two Firefox downloaders - Easy YouTube Video Downloader 6.8 and 1-Click YouTube Video Downloader 2.0.6. Both work fine on videos that are not VEVO. I was able to until a few days ago. Any ideas?

hello: I just deleted a folder holding many bookmarks from my bookmark toolbar (inadvetedly. i thought i was deleting the one next to it....

is there any way to get it back or have i lost all those bookmarks, there is like 200 in that folder. thankyou

There is a pop up security update that comes up when I open or sometimes when I'm in the middle of another program on firefox. It says I need to install or download or something to that effect for security purposes. However, when I attempt to do that it just sits there and says that it is trying to connect to the server and it will sit there forever if I let it. So I just keep closing it sometimes with the tell me later button and lately with the close button. When I press the more info button it takes me to the mozilla firefox site but I don't find any info on this update that it says I need to have. HELP. I can't get rid of it and it is annoying to have it keep popping up all the time.

hi. adblock plus and adblock plus pop-up addon worked without a problem for a long time. suddenly they block everything even when i 'allow' and 'disable on this page' or 'disable on this website' and all kinds of other stuff. nothing i do will stop them from blocking everything. i can't share on any social websites like twitter, facebook, i can't do anything on ebay or carry out online orders at stores.

Before I changed internet service providers, I could type my search queries into the url bar and receive search results from Google. After I switched ISPs, my queries typed into the url bar are put into my new ISP's horrible search engine. How do I change it back?

I've already tried going to about:config and changing the value of the keyword.URL preference to "http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=" but that didn't fix my problem.

New information since creation of the post:

My ISP is Optimum. I have opted out of DNS Assistance and still have seen no change.

When my search term is two words or more, I am directed to Google search results. If my search term is only one word, however, I am still directed to Optimum's search results.

Recently, I installed a new hard drive in my MacBook. I used the opportunity to install fresh copies of everything. When I go to http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/politics/jan-june13/shieldsbrooks_06-14.html, all I get is a black screen where the flash video should display. The same problem has happened on other web sites but Flash also works on some web sites. I have had this problem on earlier versions of Firefox and Flash too. I have Apple OS X Snow Leopard v10.6.8 installed. I have installed all the updates available for this version. I am using the latest version of Firefox, v21.0. I am using the latest version of Flash, v11.7.700.225. I have uninstalled both Flash and Firefox and reinstalled them. I have scoured all the Mozilla support web sites, the Adobe web site and I Googled the problem and only found a suggestion to reinstall everything which I have already tried. The PBS web site works fine in both Safari and Chrome. To be honest, I am tired of the Flash problems and the slowness of Firefox. I have to restart Firefox often. Is there anyone who knows how to fix Firefox and Flash?

I am able to receive emails however, I cannot 'send' them. What happens when I hit send is it says 'Sending' but never stops - it just stays in 'sending' mode without ever completing the email. This just started today. I went ahead and reset my Firefox and it's still the same.

Firefox from one minute to the next crashed. Everytime I opened it up, it became unresponsive. Never an error message, just a pure freeze. The CPU does not go into overdrive. I did a complete uninstall. Created a new profile. As soon as i closed my session, the problem persisted. Even in safe mode, the application freezes completely within 1-3 seconds. I am running OS 10.6.8 on MacBook Pro and have been using Firefox for years as my primary browser. The crashes have been increasing over the last few months until now, Firefox crashes multiple times a day. I cannot get the Preferences to open from the File menu. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I am at a loss to figure out what to do next. All my other applications run fine. Firefox is running on other Macs in our house under newer operating systems, but this has become a severe problem.

My privacy settings dictate that when I quit firefox, all my history (saved forms, page visits, cookies, cache, etc.) is deleted - i.e. 'keep until: I close Firefox'. When I started using sync, this stopped happening, and I'd open Firefox again to find that my history from the previous session was still recorded. I decided to delete my sync account, yet since then I still have the same issue, even though my privacy settings remain unchanged. I have had to manually delete my history each time I start a session. This behaviour is obscure, since it goes against how I've setup Firefox.

I have a problem in visualizing panoramas and objects on my website (www.dee-lay.com); all other browsers do not have this flickering problem ..is something about my mistake?

I created a website for a client and when it went live I noticed several places where links were added to type that I didn't create. I see that they are "Skimlinks" and I would prefer they not be in sites that I create. I tried the site in Firefox and Safari but the only show up in Firefox. How can I stop them from appearing?
