I've done all what the other questions said. Nothing. I need a solution that will work for a Mac Os X 4.0. I don't care if it's super complicated just I WANT MY COMPUTER FIXED!

About a month ago I could no longer connect to the internet on our PC. Every time I clicked on the Firefox icon the Netscape sign-on window would pop up. I would try to close it but it would pop up over and over again. If I tried to close it a dozen or so times eventually Firefox would open up but it would never connect. Just today I moved my Netscape file to the recycle bin. No longer does the Netscape sign-on window pop up but following Network Connection error message pops up: "Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection".. This error window behaves the same way the Netscape sign-on window used to behave. Every time I click to close it it pops open again. After numerous clicks Firefox opens up but it never connects.

i have always played king.com on firefox. now when i try to play, i cannot to so. if a challenge is sent to me. i can play, otherwise i cannot. can you please help me? thank-you.

I am running MAC 10.4.11 OSX therefore the system itself does not have the capabilities to upgrade to the new Firefox, and /or hotmail. Nothing comes out correctly and I am not that it can make my system unstable. What can I do to help fix this situation? Please do not tell me to buy a new system unless you are offering one. I have an older iMac operating on Mac OSx 10.4. When I attempted to down-load some plug-in updates, they would not accept it because my computer is to old and doesn't have the necessary capability. When I try to remove the message, nothing works, and every time I boot the computer with Firefox, it keeps reloading. Please tell me how to delete this plug-in reminder. Thank you.

Using Safari, when I click on a url in an email, it opens in a new window. Using Firefox, clicking on an url in an email replces the open firefox window with the new one. I want them both open.

I receive a newsletter that has information I need. Since I chose Fire Fox as my default setting, I haven't been able to open it. It was so easy making Fire Fox my default, but not so easy to remove it. Jim Kennedy

I am unable to update gmail, nor use HULU and other similar sites because I am unable to update my firefox. When I try, i get as far as opening the applications folder after downloading firefox, and i get a message that says: unable to use this app firefox on this version of MAC OS X op system. PLease help me get hooked up!

I have a Macbook Pro running OS X 10.7.5. My Gmail inbox is my home page, and every time it opens it says that my version of Firefox is outdated and that I should update to a "modern" browser. I have 15.0.1, so I am puzzled as to why this happens. Thanks!

I have a mac lap top from 2007. When I try to down load fire fox, I get a message telling me mac os x 10.4.2 does not support the new fire fox. Is there something else I can do? Thank you!

First of all, I use a Macintosh! All previous attempts to answer my problem were addressed to that other computer medium, Windows. I apologize for this. For whatever reason, I lose the Address Field when I pull up Firefox, that blank space awaiting my entry of some web site I want to visit. It's just not there. I go through the Preferences, etc, and cannot retrieve it, although I have done so in the past but God knows how. Thank you all.

A few days ago my window at the top of the page suddenly disappeared, so now I cannot access new or quick to type in internet addresses anymore. As well, also the little google window on the right top side disappeared. To make things worse, even on another top bar were some icons, one of which looked like a house that - when klicked - got me to google. Now I have nothing but only tabs of old internet addresses to access, but not what I want, i.e. a new address that I usually just typed into the address bar.

My kids were messing with my computer and must have pushed something and everything disappeared. I need to know how to put an address bar (back button, refresh, ect) back up into the top of my window. Part of the problem is that my computer screen is cracked and I can't see anything in my menu easily. A command that would restore the address bar would help. Thanks.

Addon's quit working with that 10.0.7, now i can get anything to run showip shows up as none, webmail notifier does not work, the finder quits working and i have to continual relaunch, preference In general the Behavior not functioning as designed. here is what i have-Firefox

Preference window sometimes will let me make changes and sometimes not. showip does not list ip addr tenfourfox will go into not responsive mode and right now this appl uses 340 mb, i still have 400mb free and cpu is maxed with on 20-40 processes..

Blocked for your graphics card because of unresolved driver issues.**** this is fictious, i had the chipset looked at by vendor and there is nothing worng, but there is something WRONG.

I was running FF 14 and updated to FF 15. Now I would like to try running FF 14 again just to do some testing, but when I launch FF 14 it finds the update file and automatically updates to FF 15. How do I prevent this from happening? Where is the update file stored? I assume I have to get rid of it but have to know where it is first. (Mac OS-X 10.5.8, MacBook Intel)
