Also the mail has been sent 10 minutes ago and I still can't delete the file. So the newly composed email has been closed

I finally decide to upgrade my firefox 3.6 version. After doing so firefox would not connect to the internet. The first thing I tried was IE and that didn't connect either. The next thing I tried was a system restore. (to get back to firefox 3.6). Now firefox doesn't open at all. I thought to try to change some of the Norton Antivirus settings, but that software is not opening either. Here is where I stand, firefox doesn't open, IE doesn't connect to the internet, and Norton antivirus doesn't open. I'm on a laptop to summit my question. The machine that I'm have difficulty with is a windows XP service pack 3 os.

Hi-I'm a novice so hopefully there's an easy resolution. I've customized the Firefox theme using Intel HD graphics "color enhancement." Even though the coloring setting are saved via the Intel card, when I start a new Firefox session the theme reverts to the original shadings. I can change back to my customized theme by opening the Intel Control Center but I'd like to avoid that step.
Is there a way to keep my settings as default without fiddling with css editing which I'm too stupid to do? Thanks for any thoughts

I know how to use customize toolbars. If I move the Bookmarks button to the left Firefox ignore my change if I have the Bookmark Toolbar enabled, leaving the bookmark button on the far right of the Bookmark Toolbar.
If I disable the Bookmark Toolbar, then the Bookmarks button shows up where I had specified.
However, I NEED to keep the Bookmark Toolbar.
While we are here, what makes the "add bookmark" button so GD special that it cannot be moved? Or can it?
If I can move that, then I really have no reason to go to the right of my screen.

As soon as I updated to Firefox 14.0.1 it would not start, I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, including removing almost all registry references to Firefox or Mozilla. As soon as I downloaded Firefox 9 it worked fine, I guess I will be waiting until and update that works. Windows 7, 64 bit, full updates, Webroot A/V, no malware. I don't so much as need a solution as I was offering up advice.

Since the latest Firefox update (14.01 - I am not posting this from my own laptop so it will read as lower than 14.01) my Firefox browser will no longer search via Google (for example if I type in a place/company it doesn't bring up Google with search results).
I have looked for an tips/advice and found this question on the forum but now when I search it brings up the website that is the top result, and not Google itself.
Is this a glitch with the newest update? On this library computer which is 9.0.1 it doesn't have anything entered into the keyword.URL that is mentioned in the above link and it manages to search via Google just fine.

Have two users in Windows Vista SP2 - one is set as administrator one as just a user. When logged in as Administrator- PW protected (or-if I open FF 9 to run as administrator ) [Flash Player 11.1.102.55 installed ] videos work fine. When logged in as Standard Uuser, videos do not play.

However, sites such as YouTube eg. and http://www.cbs.com/shows/the_young_and_the_restless/video/$?play=true&pid=PWVXLODc2ZkjG56Q4UQX5yvBZ4VcDz7x work fine in both situations.
Is this a site problem, setup problem, or user profie difference problem?
