I have problem to connect to gmail from my computer with firefox browser. This Untrusted connection message occur.
with pop-ups disabled and no exceptions, I am getting a pop-up window from http://www.uwavou.com/ at various times how do I stop this?

How do I get the "Match Case" in "Find" (Ctrl+F) to Default to unchecked (case insensitive) instead on staying on its last setting?

After updating Firefox no longer works with Hide IP, it works fine with IE so a firefox problem. Your FAQ answer on this does not solve the issue

After checking the box Firefox will then open new windows in a tab instead of a new window, However after a shutdown of the computer the check mark is gone and must be rechecked. Is there a way for Firefox to remember the check mark when the program is restarted?

When I initially activated my Tom Tom GPS (Jan 2012) I did not have a problem using Firefox. About 4-6 weeks ago I attempted to update the device and "My Tom Tom" would not run with Firefox. After literally hours of trying to get it to work, I tried Internet Explorer and the updates ran without a hitch. Today I had the same problem and after a few unsuccessful attempts to use Firefox, switched to IE and had no problems. I am not sure, but I think I updated my Tom Tom device at least once via Firefox and believe the problem developed sometime after April 2012

I'm using "Firefox Sync" to sync the bookmarks between a desktop and a tablet.
On the desktop, the bookmarks include 2 parts:
- all bookmarks by "Firefox Sync" is updated to "Mobile device" folder;
- another part is bookmarks that only add/change by desktop and is unchanged by "Firefox Sync".
Last night, "Mobile device" folder on the desktop lost, but other bookmarks exist. since I haven't used the tablet and synced with the tablet for a month, all new bookmarks in "Mobile device" folder lost and cannot find out from the tablet. The bookmarks includes my important research; thus, I really want to get it back.
I've tried the following methods, but it still doesn't see "Mobile device" folder:
- sync bookmark with the server (I'm afraid that the blank already replaced the data on the sync server)
- restore the autosaved bookmarks file *.json
- move places.sqlite to another computer
Does Firefox backup their Firefox Sync Server everyday? Would I request Firefox Support to restore my Firefox Sync data on the server back to 3 days ago? Thanks!

since a bookmark is in essence just a URL, i don't understand why firefox decides to record a deal of additional info associated with each bookmark (this readily seen if the 'export bookmarks in html' option is elected, and said file is inspected)... after all, surely bookmarks are simply a facility to save having to type the URL in manually(!?!)

Reason cause Im upgrading my windows xp to windows 7 and my son says we have to wipe everything on my hard drive cause he says clean install is best and I have been using firefox for about a year and I have a lot of history and book marks and saved password I dont remeber and I would hate to lose it all. so how do i save it all so i can be able to use agian when i go to windows 7 cause i know when he wipe my hard drive I lose everything on it.
