I want to bring all my bookmarks together into one place, preferably the Firefox Library function. Will it hold 3,000? 5,000? With those quantities, will it still retrieve them quickly? Any problems with this many bookmarks? Thanks to all.

Dear Sir/Ma'am I cann't see a saved password(only one) from saved list after clicking show password, That password shows in only black bullets even after clicking "show". Plse help.

When I click on the Firefox icon in my dock, a small box pops up first. It has a file folder with an arrow and the Firefox icon in it. It does not go away until I close it. How to get rid?

All my settings from menu options>options disappear after restarting FireFox. But primarily it was not so! The complete reinstallation (with uninstallation) do not remove the problem.

I need version 10 for PC. Where can I find it? There is no ver. 12 plugin available for my protection software, so I can't safely use version 12 yet. Is there a URL for where to download ver 10, like there is for version 3.6?

When I create a shortcut on my desktop I get the Firefox icon, not the website icon, which is the icon I want for easy and quick identification. How can I EASILY get rid of the Firefox icon and replace it with the website icon?

I use Firefox 13 with Ubuntu 12.04 in two different computer, a desktop and a netbook. In general I have same extensions and preferences in both PC.

In only one of them I cannot display Google maps anymore (the embedded objects in non-Google site), getting this error popoup (ITA): "Questo sito web richiede una chiave API di Google Maps differente. È possibile generare una nuova chiave all'indirizzo http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html .".

I cannot understand - after googling for a while - if it is a matter of Firefox settings or other OS-related issue (e.g. the java machine).

When I use the Firefox browser to surf the web, on nearly every web page I visit an invasive advertising platform creates anchor links on the web pages (anchor keywords with two hyperlinks under the anchor word) which when clicked takes the viewer to an advertisement. Most of the links seem to be part of an advertising platform owned by "Text Enhance," which I have contacted to complain about. They sort of played dumb. I said I thought it was the result of some malware from which they were the sole beneficiary and they assured me they didn't instigate it. I went to the Warrior Forum and some members suggested it sounded like it came from one of your extensions or plugins. My security and technology consultant scrubbed my computer and they deleted some of your extensions and plugins and the problem went away. But two weeks later, it's back and it's pervasive. Even words in my online banking accounts are showing these text links.

Aside from security concerns, my biggest fear is that they are stealing traffic from the websites I publish--websites where I'm trying to sell either my own or affiliate products. And that upsets me greatly.

I'm sure I'm not the only web user experiencing this problem. If other web publishers are also getting their traffic stolen and directed to a competing site, you can bet that there will be a class action lawsuit on the horizon for Mozilla. So I suggest you get to the bottom of this situation and rectify it, because a lawsuit will be the inevitable result.

I don't mean to alarm you because I use Firefox as my primary browser. However, I checked IE and Chrome and Chrome is exhibiting the same situation. So I'm not really sure how this is happening, and that's why I'm contacting you about it.

Please let me know if you know how to de-activate this invasive pest.

For months I have been battling with slow internet connection speeds with my Wi-Fi router at home. I have changed everything and tested every alternative configuration. I have even changed the router. In the end I have worked out it is not the router, or the OS, or the windows user account that are the problem. It is using Mozilla Firefox. I really want to carry on using Firefox but I cannot. Using Fiirefox I might get a connection speed of about 500Kbs; using IE I get the full 10 Mbs that my ISP (cable) gives. It is not consistent: the problem comes and goes. But when the problem is there, it can be fixed by stopping using Firefox and using IE instead. Why could this be?

I am having the most trouble when on facebook, but it happens all the time. I cannot even scroll down and sometimes cannot finish typing a sentence without getting the "firefox is not responding" message, and everything stalls. it is happening like every 30 seconds at times. it started a few updates back and has never stopped.

Helly, my problem started with FF 6. It keeps freezing the whole browser after a few minutes. I think every 15 minutes it's freezing. Now I went to the helpforum and somebody gave the advice to deinstall FF. Run CC Cleaner. And then reinstall FF. I did that, and seems to work. It wasn't hanging anymore. BUT it came back!!! I don't have a clue why. I changed nothing to my pc. Now I have upgraded to 7.0.1 and the problem of freezing is still here. When it freezes, my whole pc freezes. I can do nothing else. please fix it!

When I am at Yahoo Games, the pop up window for Chess opens, but never loads. I tried it in IE and it works fine - so the problem comes down to Firefox.

When I click on a games room - and window pops up and asks to punch in a code (to avoid spam). This pop up works fine, I then proceed to punch in the code and then I go to another pop up window where the Chess Game normally loads. Only now it doesn't load at all.

it says to... Wait 3 minutes for applet to load... Click here if applet fails to load. Normally I've never had to wait 3 minutes before (ever) - now, even if I wait, it still doesn't load.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As of yesterday , possibly after the windows updates , when I close the browser ,the crash reporter opens and says FF has crashed , when all that has occured is I closed it.

Firefox saves my cookies, but it keeps logging me out every time I exit the window. I have "Remember Me" checked off, so I don't understand why it's doing this. Just started all of a sudden. What do I do?

I recently was prompted to update my Flash player and did so. Afterwards, Flash no longer worked. I get an error message saying "The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed. No report available." Reloading the page over and over, it never works. Does not work on any website I try with Flash.

OSX 10.7.2 Firefox 7.0.1 Using whatever is the most up to date version of Flash right now (can't figure out the version number).

I tried uninstalling Flash and re-installing, didn't help. Disabled all add-ons, restarting, no go. Tried restarting the entire system, still no go.

Works perfectly fine in Safari.

After I upgraded to Firefox 8.0.1, Windows Media Player stopped playing embedded videos within the Firefox browser.

If you go to Add-ons and disabled VLC player plugin, Firefox will start to plays any Windows Media Player videos without any issue.

The minute I click to enable VLC, Windows Media Player stop working again. This problem is not used to happen in Firefox 6.02.

Please help me with problem. any suggestions will be appreciated.

This is a straight HTML (no JavaScript, no CSS) page with a tiled background image (128x128 pixel JPEG). After about 2/3 of the roughly 3,000 lines of this page the background image stops, with a smooth horizontal divide: the tiled image background above, and a white background below. The discontinuity moves up and down some while scrolling this page, but remains a clean horizontal break.

This is new behavior with Firefox 7. The background image was displayed throughout the full page with Firefox 6 and earlier.

I have already tried to disable Firefox updates by going...

Options -> Advanced -> Automatically check updates to

...and then unchecking Firefox. Yet Firefox insists on downloading new updates all the time. Recently it updated to version 7.0. I did not want to do this because every time there is an update, some of my extensions are not compatible. How can I stop Firefox from automatically updating - for good?

I am not ready to upgrade to version 8, and I want FireFox to stop asking me to do so. How do I stop those prompts?

Every new version of software is full of bugs, and I always wait a while before upgrading. Besides, I don't like the changes that have been made since version 2, so why should I like this upgrade?
