The screen in foxfire will not scroll with the sliding of my finger on right side of the touchpad on my lenovo thinkpad or the navigation button. It does work with all other programs including windows explorer and google chrome.

All other sites are fine and I have used letmewatchthis over 1,000 times. I ha it tested on a few on the test sites and apparently it is just me :/

I have changed my homepage back to google, but whenever i search through the main navigation bar, search completion is the default search tool and its terrible.

For the past week I get a message from Norton telling me that radiowmpcoregecko is safe. I can't find it anywhere and I have no idea what it is or where it came from. Is it important - if so, what does it do.

Is it possible to move the word "Start Private Browsing" from the Tool List because it can create suspect or accuse to use it, I prefer to have it dissect like using the keyboard (use Ctlr + Shift + P) to start private browsing.

After the upgrade to Firefox 6.0, a kind of malware has been included in the browser. When opening, i.e, a newspaper site, some words appear as double underlined, and a link to www.textsrv.com/xxxxxx is included as hyperlink. I wanted to extract this pluging, malware, or whatever it is called unsuccessfully. Looking into the internet, it seems that the Adobe Flash has the problem. ¿How do you recommend to solve this issue?

On previous versions of Firefox, in Windows 7 Ultimate, I have it pinned to the taskbar, and I used to open from there and it opened normally and the icon stayed. Now, in the new version (6.0.2) I want to do the same but when I start the Firefox, in the taskbar appears another icon than the usual, so I have two Firefox icons in the taskbar and I don´t want to have two, but I want to keep it pinned to the taskbar.

So last night I needed to install the most recent version of Adobe Reader which I thought I HAD since I haven't had any trouble viewing PDFs in the past but I guess not. Anyway after doing that I've had a kind of weird problem when using Firefox: a lot of times if I go to right click because there's something I want to copy or whatever I get can still scroll up and down the page, switch tabs, etc. but for some reason the buttons in the Firefox window to minimize/close/etc. can't be selected, neither can anything on the taskbar like the start button and such. I wind up having to hit ctrl+alt+del and then clicking to sort of "restore" that.

I thought it was something with Adobe Reader so just to be sure I uninstalled it and it's a problem that's still occuring off and on; some times I right click and it's fine, other times I right click and it does it again. I'm using Firefox 6.0.2 and on Windows 7. I don't know if anyone else has ever had a problem like this or not.

Also only my laptop have this problem,my friend laptop connected to same line have no problem. Have tried different browser and all also cant connect to facebook. Running OS X Lion 10.7.1 Mac mini early 2009, 4GB RAM. No other problems except both Firefox and Chrome are incredibly slow opening web pages when compared to the same two browsers in Windows or to Safari in OS X.

This happens whether other applications are running or not. Internet speed has not changed (tested 6 Mbps), not using proxies, etc. Yes, I did test after Quitting all other apps. It makes no difference.

Hi, I'm using Firefox 6.0.2 and it's a while that I'm facing this problem. Anytime I click the little X to close the tab (sometimes I have to click it 2-3 times) it closes the tab but a new blank tab opens itself. For example when I start with 1 tab, open 3 tabs from that page so I have 4, I want to go to another site and close everything about my first site. Then Firefox gives me the new site + 4 blank tabs that can't be closed.

When I open Firefox it works well but after 10-15 minutes or I don't know maybe 1 hour or so this problem appears.

I did not install any new plugin or extension (maybe updated my existing plugins) .

It's not a virus,malware or anything. I'm using Avast home edition (Free) and it updates itself every day several times. I also scanned my system with tdsskiller (read on a forum that solves the problem, but it didn't). I'm using firefox for years, but this problem is happening only from a week ago.

When I try to play a movie on Netflix I get an error telling me that Firefox's private browsing mode is restricting Netflix from storing settings on my computer.

The suggests were to click the Tools menu and select private browsing. My private browsing was not activated.

Or to click the Tools menu at the top of the browser and select Options, then Privacy and then Remember history. This setting was also as it should.

Additionally, I went into the history and made sure the permanent private browsing was unchecked and I cleared all cookies. Still Netflix is not working.

I called Netflix and they say that everything is streaming correctly from their end and it is this computer. I can watch Netflix on other computers or my TV on this network but not this computer.

I am at a loss at how to disengage private browsing when the private browsing does not appear to be engaged.

Hi, I'm using firefox 6.0.2 and it's been a while that I'm experiencing this new problem. When I open firefox and start browsing it works fine but after a short while (I don't know, maybe 15min,30min or an hour) of using the problem appears.

When I click the little X to close a tab (i.e:google.com or facebook.com) It closes the tab (sometimes I have to click 2-3 times) but a new blank tab opens itself. clicking the X of the new blank tab will do no change (1blank tab closes, 1 new comes). This way I will have tons of blank pages while I browse.

I did not install any plugin or extension. Maybe they updated themselves. I'm using Avast Free Home Edition and it's updated every day.
