I installed Firefox 12 and tried to watch a flash video, but WHERE THE HELL are the pause and full screen buttons????? I reverted back to Firefox 8 and viola the buttons that were missing were there on FF 8 can't you geeks do anything right besides destroying the once great state of California with your Liberal Marxism?? I only use Firefox because I strongly believe that anything from Microsoft is from the Devil himself!! How do I get those missing buttons back there sparky???

Just installed firefox in a new Lenovo laptop with Windows 7. Firefox is not asking to save password for sites. I have checked all the proper tabs and all is ok. I have the business Lenovo laptop with W7 as well, same firefox, and works well there.

Noticed also that Slingbox application on installation is supposed to show a yellow bar asking permission to install a driver (or something like that), it is not happening and stuck there waiting for input.

It looks like the requests pop ups are no happening on this new pc.

I am sure the options/security/remember pass is checked and the options/privacy is not set to clear passwords

It is quite a common event to send friends a lead into a web address for interesting articles or videos (Youtube urls). To do thjis means you do a copy and paste into the Email. When I was using Aol the address presented itself in bold type which allowed the recipient to just click on the address to be connected instead of doing a copy and paste into the address bar. Is there a way this can be done in Firefox?

Every few minutes, Firefox (version 6.0.1) freezes. I get the swirling circle for a couple mins, and then it goes back to normal for a little while. I've tried updating my plug-ins. Updating Firefox. I tried starting Firefox without add-ons. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Nothing has helped so far, except for using IE instead. Which I don't want to do. I checked my task manager to see if I was running anything that has a lot of usage (Firefox is using like... 600,000k) there's nothing unusual there either. I'm at a loss on what else to do, other than change browsers.

I think the version it is trying to download is 10.something, and it seems to freeze on the "progress" window for quite some time before I end up closing it down. I have sometimes minimised the window while I've done other things, coming back to it perhaps 30 mins later and the window is exactly the same as when I left it.

This annoying symbol keeps appearing. I would like to understand it's purpose and how to use or eliminate it. Several times I could eliminate is by dragging it slightly to the left but that isn't working today.

The video screen opens but the screen is completely black and it stays that way. The videos play in Internet Exployer with no problem and tou tube videos play in Foxfire. It seems to have statred whemn the new version was downloaded.

I have two screen shots, one of each browser. I don't see anyway to attach anything here. I did nothing to change my system when this started and the owner of the website says they made no changes during the time this changed.

I checked the knowledge base and only found one thing that might have addressed my problem. I did it anyway just to see - View, Page Style and it's set to Basic Page Style. Changing to No Style did nothing.

I am a web-designer, and whenever i trying to use the alt tag for the pictures it never appears. The "alt tag" is a part of the HTML language, and the one writes it to make sure that the visitor of the site will see or understand the content of the pics, even if he has a very bad connection. like so: Every thing goes right with the width or the height, but when it comes with the "alt" it never appears. I tried it on IE and Opera, and it works. Well I read a sollution to my problem but I can't locate the lead to the sollutions for this 'not responding' occuring status of my program. And I connot remember any of them cause I hardly read the options to solve my problem.

One suggestion was about FirFox saving documents of recovery or so and that certain documents should be deleted, but I don't know which ones. And this was only one of the suggestions to solve my program's problem.

It is really slow now and I need to make a list of all the pages(the most efficient file format). Can I do that?

When I load Firefox, the default search engine goes to AVG Search. I'd like to change it so that the default search engine on the search bar is Google. In addition, when I one a new page, the new page home page defaults to AVG Search. I'd like opening a new page to default to Google. My initial home page goes to the Wall Street Journal, which I want to keep, but want to change for the search bar and when a new page is opened to Google.

I had FF running fully OK, but then tried to upgrade to FF9. After downloading the FFicon was crossed over, an a dialogbox said that my system did not support this version. So I threw this away and downloaded version 6, but this still has the crossed over thing, and won't open. How can I get a version of Firefox running on my Mac? Everything else works perfectly.
