My Firefox homepage is set to google and everytime I start Firefox it goes directly to google. No problem here. The problem that I have is that under the history tab there is a restore previous session button that is annoying me. The privacy setting is set to "Use custom settings for history". The only thing that are checked are the "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies" checkboxes. Solution that starts with "Are you using Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time" ? " Please don't. I also want to disable the recently closed windows button under that darn history tab. I just can't figure it out why Firefox doesn't seem to care about people's privacy. I'm using Firefox 6. I know I have to update it but that's not the point here
Before Firefox 16 I was able to have full transparency and see through to my desktop. Now I am unable to do this but want it back, can I still do this and how?

Depending on my theme and style I was able to force Firefox to be transparent and work with Aero to show through to my desktop or other windows behind the browser. I really liked this ability, however, sometime after Firefox 16 this stopped working and I have been looking for a solution ever since. I am currently on the the release version of Firefox.
Does Firefox not allow this anymore or is there a way I can code this feature back using Styles or modifying one of the files in Firefox?
I hit download and nothing has happened. I did save it. It's driving my crazy.

I've tried everything --even customizing and can't get rid of it. I have used Mozilla for over 10 years--I was one of the first ones and now I hate this and hate that I can't call someone.
Why do I have to use bookmarks to then move the URLS into my own created folders?? Why can't I just add the URL directly to my folder?

Only way I see is: I first have to bookmark the site, then go into Bookmarks, then move the site into my folder. This is a waste of time to me and inefficient. I like FireFox but with Safari I can add the site directly into my folder. Why would I want to add more steps? Am I missing something?
