My Firefox is set to auto update but won't because of the above message. I dont know what else I can provide you. I took a snpshot of the message, but it won't paste here for you to see.

Haven't used Firefox in a while. I'm running Internet Explorer 7.0 (currently since I can't get Firefox to work). I have a Qwest DSL as my internet service provider. When I try to go online to my Yahoo Email Acct (Home Page) I get an error message saying, "Proxy Server is refusing connections"."Firefox is configured to use a proxy server". How do I check to make sure the proxy server settings are correct or check the network administrator to see if the proxy server is working? I used it a couple of months ago without any problems.

I did not use this brosser for some years, but it was intaled in my computer. When I have start to use it again, I try to "remenber a site password" ant the program aked me for a KEY Password. I can't remember it. How can I remove it in order to change over the password to use it again?

The <www.google.com> homepage includes a "Language Tools" link that is inexplicably missing on the official Firefox homepage. I would greatly appreciate an answer. Thanks!

Lately I have two problems that I can't solve. 1) Some sort of addon called "Text Enhance" underlines some of the text in a web page that if clicked brings you to an advertisement. How can I eliminate it.

2) A pop up called "Direct Save" has an icon on the upper right corner of firefox that occasionally expands and tells me I have coupons available.

I've unclicked popups and eliminated all addons yet these two items persist. Please help me eliminate them.

All of a sudden firefox won't go online, but IE will and all other internet enabled applications. I can't remember why but I decided to restart firefox and it started happening. Actually I remember now, Facebook told me I had to close the browser as it was throwing an error. WHen I restarted, no internet connection. However, I have internet just fine in IE and other apps.

I just simply turned on my computer and clicked FireFox as always. Looks like some updates installed and now all my bookmarks are gone. I've looked at all related troubleshooting answers and nothing works. How do i get my bookmarks back?

Sometimes an erroneous logon gets typed in for a site and that logon is saved somewhere. I want to go to that place and delete the incorrect logons I have accumulated from that list. If I have to, I would delete all logons and start over just to get rid of the bad ones.

After downloading the latest Firefox, a box shows 97%. Then another box tells me Firefox will need to be shut down to continue. When I shut down Firefox either one it's own, or by a full restart, the same box returns, telling me to shut down Firefox. I can noy go pass this section to complete the installation.

I installed the latest version of 1Password 3.6.5 but its extension is incompatible with Firefox 3.6.2. It wants Firefox 4 or 5. The 1Password extension does work, however, on my Safari 5.1 browser. I want 1Password on both browsers but Firefox is preventing this due to inability to automatically update to Firefox 4 or 5. That option is checked in the Firefox preferences.

I click on a Mozilla Firefox icon on my desktop screen. But comcast is the page that comes up. I no longer use comcast. I switched to AT & T. I want to have either AT&T or Yahoo, which ATT employs for email, come up as my beginning page when I click my firefox icon.

Have used Firefox for a long time. Just loaded 3.6.2 on my HP laptop with Vista. New tabs don't show either by "open new tab" button or Ctrl + T. I have to keep opening multiple windows of Firefox. Help. Please.
