I am hoping someone more intelligent than me, can help me out here, as I've got a really infuriating problem.

I tend to visit a lot of online forums, especially in recent days those at Sky (http://helpforum.sky.com/) and Vodafone (http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/)

Whenever I log in, and try and post a message, I keep getting a very annoying error message that says:

"Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."

The problem is, I never use ANY HTML code, as I don't know what it is. I do use spaces, capital letters, standard punctuation marks, and carriage returns/paragraph breaks. This problem doesn't manifest itself on Internet Explorer, nor Opera, nor Chrome.

So what's going on please?!

As of a week ago, when I use gmail in Firefox on one machine, the icons for trashcan, refresh, settings, etc do not appear normal but appear as squiggly lines (I have a jpg if you want to see what I mean, but they almost look like something you would use on an android device or something.)

In IE they look normal, and from the same account on other machines I have, they look fine. Rebooting does not help and I have made no changes to the machine recently. This is the only program that seems affected.

I know this machine has an old version of FF on it, but it worked well until a week ago. i do not really want to upgrade it. I really like this version.

The answers I was given did not solve the problem. After signing out from e-mail and going to Yahoo news,when I click on an article to read nothing moves up or down on the page. The timer comes on for awhile and a message says Moxilla not responding. After about a minute or longer everything starts to move and I can then read the article. If I come back to Yahoo news the same thing happens.

When I sign out of e-mail, go to yahoo news, and select an article to read, The sidebar will not go up and down to read the article and the timer comes on for quite some time.The message "mozilla firefox not responding. This has been going on for quite some time. Thank you

After clicking on the "New Folder", there is a field for entering the name of the folder. After 3 seconds. This field is automatically closed, and get a folder named "New Folder", or a few letters that are able to enter up to 3 seconds. Firefox 17.01.

I had taken a manual backup of my firefox data as i needed to get my laptop formatted. I had copied the entire contents of the "...AppData\Roaming\Mozilla" folder onto my external HD. I have tried to follow the steps as mentioned in this article: (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles) but it has not helped at all. I believe i was using FF 12 before taking the backup, but i maybe wrong.

Therefore, i have a couple of questions: 1. Is there any way of knowing which version of FF was i using? 2. If not, will that affect whether i can restore FF to the earlier state.

I essentially want to restore FF to the last state i left it in, including bookmarks, preferences, plugins, etc. Please help!

(I am using FF 3 just for now. I intend to use 12/14/15 after i can restore the thing)

I have downloaded and installed your latest version and I have nothing but problems. It is so FULL of BUGS. I have to repeatedly reset my connection (don't have to on other system running previous version of Firefox) AND this evening tried to use a website to set a service appointment and the system with latest version DIDNOT WORK!!! System with previous version had no problems.

GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!

I do not want to have to go bakc to IE but you are making it difficult to stay with you. FIX IT NOW!!!

Yes, I am ver frustrated. I do not like it when I have to spend hours trying to make software work. Why don't you hire people who know what they are doing instead of these kids from the "high profile schools" who don't know anything.

I do web development. I was working on a site with a self-signed certificate and therefore had to create an exception in Firefox to access the site using https. Due to unrelated problems on the server, I deleted the account and then recreated it. I also had to create a new self-signed certificate. Now Firefox returns the message Error code: sec_error_reused_issuer_and_serial. I deleted the original exception from Firefox but it still returns the error. I tried to explicitly create a new exception but that returned the error, too. Note I do not have this problem with other computers on the same network and the problem does occur if I move the offending computer to another network. i.e., the problem is associated with the computer, not the network or router.

I go to YouTube to play a video and it does not work, there is just a black space where the video would be, but Internet Explore will play the video, i really like FireFox, but i need for this to work and be dependable if not im gonna have to switch back to IE

i also tried this on another computer and had the same problem with Firefox

My You-Tube will no longer play in firefox. It used to play fine now all I hear is sound no picture. My adobe 10 is up to date and plays everywhere else fine. I love firefox and need help fixing this problem, Please help me!

So I tried to watch a video on YouTube, yet Firefox just shows a black box. Neither the video nor the audio will play. It doesn't crash my browser or bring up any errors, which leads me to believe that it is not a Flash Player problem.

I opened Google Chrome and tried, and it plays YouTube videos with no problems.

I restarted my computer, yet it still does not work.

Any assistance is very much so appreciated.

When I try to open my google calendar, the "Loading" graphic flashes on and off but nothing else happens. I can load other google apps just fine (gmail, google docs, etc.). The calendar loads fine in Explorer. This problem just started a day or two ago; I have had no problems with google calendar on firefox in the past. I am running Firefox 3.6.15.

After a computer crash I was able to recover my data files and put them on my new computer. I found all the Firefox bookmarks in a folder called "Favorites" How do I bring this into my new Firefox bookmarks, which is just about empty now. There are lots of bookmarks that I'd hate to recreate anew. Any and all help greatly appreciated. Eric

I recently installed flashplayer 10. up until then everything was fine. Now you tube, hulu and other video content does not play. I tried removing it and default to flip for mac but the sites continue to ask for the flash upgrade.

Unable to load Youtube videos. Am able to view them with IE on same computer. Have uninstalled and reinstalled latest Flash. Do not get sound. Only black screen where video is supposed to show. Can see Youtube webpage and listings.
