I got a message saying I was using an old and insecure version of firefox. I was directed to click on help. I can't find help. When I clicked the free download a message said it didn't exist. Try another version. I have been having problems with viruses and would like to clean firefox or load a new version while keeping my homepage. I keep hearing firefox is known for not protecting users from viruses.

What does that mean, do I still have 3.6.11 ? I would like to run firefox 20 ! Foxit Reader is not opening pdf files online
I am using Firefox 3.6.11 and Foxit Reader 4.2. I have no problem opening pdf files that I have saved. But when a website wants me to open a pdf file, I get a blank page.

Whenever I click on a mailto: link, either nothing happens or, in some instances, a new blank tab will appear. I have Outlook set as my email client, and the program is running. Other browsers, IE and Chrome, link out to Outlook just fine, only Firefox (3.6.11) has this problem.

I could understand (not like) the fact that Microsoft might not be eager to make their products any easier to use with Firefox. But, I would think that Google and Real Networks would.

When I click the subscribe to rss feed I don't get the subscribe using live bookmarks screen the tutorials shows. I get a loading message then nothing and no bookmark of any type is added and there is no live feed.
If I look at my bookmarks there are no live feed bookmarks and no category of "live feed" exists.
PLEASE PLEASE HOW CAN I UNINSTALL SPEED DIAL?

This happens only when I use a shortcut to invoke Firefox. I am running Windows 7 professional. The Firefox window opens after the error message occurs, so I would classify this as an annoyance. Several help postings mention removing "ddeexec" from Firefox registry entries. This worked for a while (it seems to be related to Firefox updates) but now no longer works: ddeexec is removed but the error message still occurs.
