will firefox work on an ipad?
before I attempt it I'd like to know if firefox is compatible with the ipad and if there are any "tricks" to loading it onto the ipad. == has not started yet

I tried 5 times to download Firefox 8 as my PC says I'm using an old version and at risk of not being protected. I save and run and follow the prompts. It says complete and click to launch firefox 8 and when I do it takes me back to my original firefox that shows the warning that I'm using an out of date version. I keep doing this and same result. I shut the computer down and turned back on and still shows I'm using out of date Firefox. I checked in my Programs on Control Panel and Firefox shows that it's definetely downloaded. HELP I'm using Windows 7 on my PC and my antivirus is TREND

I am running 3.5.9 on FC11 (yeah I know I should upgrade but can't at the moment). Therefore I don't have "Help > Troubleshooting Information" available to me. Is there anything I can do (like upgrade to 3.6) to get the tabs back or are they gone forever?

Why did Firefox stop buffering 40-50% of my radio stream and lock up. Used to work fine. Receives other audo fine.

I'm running Ubuntu 9.10. I installed the Spanish (spain) dictionary for OpenOffice using "sudo apt-get install myspell-es" which also invaded firefox and suddenly my right click > languages menu for spell checking is loaded to the nuts with choices of dictionaries for every kind of spanish from cuban to venezuelan.
Moreover, English US and English UK both appear twice. I ran "sudo apt-get remove myspell-es" and the spanish dicts. disappeared, which is good, but how do I remove the redundant australian english, us english, and uk english dictionaries from the right click firefox menu because right now there are 2 of each of those?

Got an Acer netbook which has linux operating system with Firefox 3.5 installed, the check for updates is greyed out, downloaded firefox 7 but will not install, we are constantly prompted by Firefox to update as 3.5 will no longer be supported

Some websites get substituted with a spam site. These sites claim they are checking your computer for viruses. In reality if you click on the pop-up window you install malware. The only way out is to go to the OS and use the task manager to kill Firefox. The next time you try to use Firefox it automatically tries to reload the last pages visited including the malware page. How do I disable the attempt to reload the web pages? If this function is not available it needs to be added to the Firefox program.

I did not upgrade for a long time and was probably on a 2.x release of some sort but last month I finally upgraded to 6.x and ever since Gmail and Pandora have told me my browser is out of date. I can still use Gmail but Pandora will not load anything.
I have cleared my cache and I have removed cookies but I still get the same error message.
I am using features that were introduced in version 6.x but even this site believes I'm using 3.5.9.
If I have to uninstall and reinstall, how can I do that without losing all of my saved passwords and other information?
