every time firefox automatically upgrades it fails to get beyond the first screen. The only way I can use firefox is to reload version 15. I have an ACER laptop running windows7.

I was able to log into zoho's zmail and retrieve my mail but I could try opening it 20 times but I got nothing, not even an error message. I went into my settings on zoho & couldn't find anything that would cause it. So I logged in on my laptop and no problem opening. So I tried finding an answer on your troubleshooting site but the only thing I found was the reset & I tried it but same problem I didn't see anything else wrong with it but I dont always use all the abilities of firefox. The 1st time was on my desktop with Win7, and firefox v.20. I removed it and put v.15 back in (Icouldn't find a v.17 anywhere) 2nd time was on my laptop with Vista and firefox v.15. (I installed this version after I changed the desktop's. I am a very big supporter of mozilla & Firefox. I absolutely hate IE - any version. It would kill me to go to that extent but this is enough to make seriously consider finding something else. I am half way to crazy on a good day so its not that far to go if I'm driven crazy. I also find firefox wont close fully unless I go into Taskmanager & ending process, on both systems.

I cant open my email in zoho. I JUST POSTED THIS QUESTION FROM MY DESKTOP.I had the same problem with it too. |Sorry, these g**damn hotkey are screwing everything up. thats another problem I'll ask another time. As I was saying, I checked my settings in zoho & found nothing amiss. I could open emails on my desktop today, but not on the laptop (which is opposite from a few months ago) LASTTIME IT WAS A V.20 (FULLY UPDATED SO THAT WASN'T THE ISSUE) freaking hotkeys, at least I assum ethats it. I I wish I knew how to turn them off completely. anyway, reset didn't work for my desktop win7 so I uninstalled it and reinstalled a v.15. I also put 15 onto my laptop then. But here we go & I have 'reset' it. I'm hoping you can help. I have looked alot of places hoping to figure it out myself but that didn't get me anywhere.

But WHY does it have to popup EVERY time I open the browser.
Mozilla's addons are up to date, the others , like microsoft genuine certificate don't "update"
So how do I get rid of your popup page aside from angrily closing it and cursing you?
And you are pretty pretentious making me modify my password umpteen times to something more "secure"?      Oh my goodness, my mozilla account was hacked !!!   Give me a break.

As stated, the clickable buttons have disappeared from some webpages. Not just the image of the buttons but the buttons themselves, i.e. there is nothing to click on. I tried disabling all add-ons, no change. I created a new profile, no change. Checked javascript, it is enabled. Page style is enabled. I started Firefox in safe mode, buttons are once again displayed and clickable. The only thing I have not done is reset Firefox, since I don't know how much 'resetting' will be done and I don't want to destroy my profile. I am not knowledgeable in web formats or Firefox programming, so if I need to add more specific information please let me know what is needed. Troubleshooting information added in the requested field.

hotmail login form saving what i have typed in login form if I accidently type my password in username field it will be saved and will reappear next time it happend only in firefox, I have deleted cookies, and all forms info in internet, options, privacy, security. Internet Explorer doesnot do that only firefox kepping to remeber that everything that typed in username field in hotmail login

I use windows 7 on a Lenovo thinkpad, everything is up to date as far as I can tell. Sophos antivirus.

Every couple of weeks, I get a large popup window that is titled "Software update" with the firefox logo beside it. The message says "It is strongly recommended that you apply this update for Firefox as soon as possible."

The only other thing it says is a link "view more information about this update" and the options to click next, or cancel. No matter what I click, nothing happens, so I always just close the window.

What the heck is this and how do I make it stop?

I have concerns regarding security of computer and my personal privacy while using anonymox. I need some rarefactions regarding the same:-

1-Has the add-ons developed by Mozilla or it is a third party application ?

2-Is it Safe ?

Let's say I fat-finger a url (e.g., Facebook..com), or I type "fac" into the address bar and either miss the down arrow or hit "enter" before the websites containing "fac" appear in the drop-down. I realize my error immediately, hit "ESC"... and rather than stopping, Firefox continues on to the error message ("Server not found: Firefox can't find the server at www.facebook..com") or the search results (First Acceptance Corporation, according to Google) until that page finishes loading. This wasn't an issue with older versions of Firefox--actually, it was one of the reasons I preferred Firefox to IE, since all versions of IE always behaved as I described above. Is there a reason newer versions of Firefox can't stop loading a page immediately upon my hitting "ESC" the way older versions did perfectly? More importantly, is there something I can do to get my forced upgrade of Firefox to replicate the good user interface of previous versions? It's not a huge issue, but it's irritating and seems like a step back.

from a while i accepted by mistake on some certificate that allowed ads to be in every site i log on. The ads under the name (Ads not by this site). I tried the malware and the ordinary antivirus but nothing work. And i really want to get rid of it. thanks

When I choose an m4v file on the 'net, FF *downloads* instead of *streams* the file to Windows Media Player; IE9 and Chrome immediately launch WMP and begin streaming the video.

 I have the latest WMP plugin, and I have set the default program to WMP for M4V files.

Running Windows 7 and FF 15.0.1.

My Imac is version 10.8 snow leopard. I tried to import bookmarks from Safari to Firefox but import data from another browser is greyed out, even though private browsing is turned off. I also created an .html file for my bookmarks no problem but when I import this file to firefox, no bookmarks appear. I checked the file in a plain text editor for any folded files but none existed. Can anyone help me solve this problem. It seems the easiest solution would be if the IMPORT DATA FROM ANOTHER BROWSER button was functional. thanks.

Has been happening for about two weeks now. Firefox crashes whenever I receive a facebook message while it is opened in a tab. It still happens in safe mode. All my drivers are up-to-date and my firefox + extensions are uptodate

I've tried reinstalling flash, clearing cookies/history, and reinstalling firefox and it still happens (but when i reinstalled firefox, i did the backup/restore thing that restored everything so I have not tried a true clean install.)

When trying to print in Firefox, and when scaling the page size in page setup, the first page prints correctly, but subsequent pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with parts of the text are being cut off at the top and right. This is not fixed by checking or un-checking the "ignore scaling/shrink to fit page width" in the print window, or by changing the scaling%.

I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

The same problem happens in the print preview and if I save the print as a .pdf

I have tried all the fixes in the how to's and others in various forums with no improvement.

This happens every time I try to print a document scaled up or down only in Firefox.

the titlebar becomes a little bigger. How to trim it a little so that it comes the same height as it is without this addon. One more thing, i have tabs on bottom, but with the plugin tabs cannot go all the way to the top how make that feature work properly?
