Hi Every time I open a PDF invoice in the built in PDF viewer - in Firefox Mac - I have to resize the the window and zoom the page to see what's on it. Is there a way to set a default window size that suits me better?

When I watch a video with Mozilla Firefox on sites like YouTube, Google Video or Bing Video in full screen the taskbar shows at the bottom of my screen and doesn't disappear like it does in Internet Explorer. How do I watch videos in full screen without the taskbar showing? It's not a website problem, it's not a Windows problem, it only does this on Mozilla Firefox's browser. All three websites play perfect full screen video on the Internet Explorer browser with no taskbar showing at the bottom..

I tried registering with Mozilla Add-ons as I wish to upload a Firefox extension we developed. So I registered with Mozilla Add-ons. I was then sent a confirmation email with a link. I clicked on that link to activate my account, but I cannot login with my username and password.

I tried registering new accounts a few times, using different usernames, passwords and email addresses, and even after clicking on each confirmation link in the email, I still cannot logon to any of my new accounts. Please help.

Yesterday all of a sudden my webpages and UI appeared to be magnified. While I can zoom out on websites, I cannot find any option to adjust the size of the UI.

I noticed that Firefox 22 (which I am running) has a new feature: "Windows: Firefox now follows display scaling options to render text larger on high-res displays". Is it possible to adjust how Firefox responds to the display scaling options perhaps?

The desktop version of Firefox has a button to turn off the 'history/shortcut'(?) windows on the opening/main page. How can I turn those off in mobile Firefox?? I seriously do not want, nor need them. For Example: Lets say one of my last visits browsing was an exotic web site. The next time I open Firefox, I am presented with an image of where I had been, regardless of who might be looking over my shoulder, perhaps a sensitive member of my family. I REALLY wish to have a blank opening page when I start up Firefox... with only a URL entry bar. Then and only then, I can choose to open a history listing or Bookmark page. This is of primary importance to me.

I used to be able to open a tab from my home computer while using my computer at work. Now, I don't seem to be able to do it. I have a sync account set up. How can I open a tab from one computer at a different computer?

Foxytunes has not been available for several Firefox upgrades. I also not longer have the sort addon for Bookmarks. These are far more useful to me than social media addons.

I'm using Windows 20, and recently install Freemake Video Downloader. I remember that I had not checked the "Make Freemake my default search provider" when installing the product. But still, Firefox use it as the default search engine. I've did some research, which tell me to go to the search box, choose the drop-down arrow, and click "Manage Search Engines". The thing is, the Freemake search engine was not there. So I just delete every search engine except only one I like, and resart the browser. Surprisingly, it has change to the homepage and search engine I want, except for one thing. If you type in the address bar, it STILL use Freemake search engine. So I have search in Control Panel > Uninstall a problem (which I didn't found anything I don't install myself). I want to keep the program, but is there a way to reset this? I can do this in Chrome and Opera, why not Firefox?

How to find out the amount of data that's flowed through FF on each site visited? Also, how to find out how many bytes particular extensions are sending/receiving?

I need to work out what [if anything] is draining my bandwidth, because it's causing me problems with supposedly exceeding bandwidth limits on a privacy-related extension.

This problem has been going on for a while, I thought it might have been the version of FF but it is still not solved. So my problem, my spell check does underline, no problem. But when I would like to correct the word and do a right click with my mouse the whole text field box freezes until I right click again with my mouse.

Also no suggestions do appear.

Any tips?

I was lissening to online radio. Firefox needed to update. After the latest update the windows media player plugin dissapeared from the add-on list, while still being installed correct. I reinstalled it, but that didn't work. I replaced/deleted some files in firefox as suggested for similiar problems, but that didn't work either. Now I can't play wmp files anymore on firefox.

There needs to be clarification on the Java issues. It's clear that we can disable Java in the java control panel itself and/or via the plug-in link.

However, what about the firefox options menu? Where you click Tools_Options_Content and then you can check or un-check "Enable JavaScript" -- is that safe to be checked/enabled or is that also part of the security concern w/ Java right now?

While trying to track down which Add-On is hammering my CPU, I found another odd behaviour while trying to disable plug-ins one-by-one: With certain plug-ins (specifically Flash, Foxit Reader, and Silverlight), the next time I restart Firefox, they are enabled again. After disabling them a few times, they finally stay disabled on restart, but then I can't re-enable them. (Same thing happens, but in reverse; I enable them, but they return to disabled on restart.)

At one point I was trying to disable Foxit and Silverlight and re-enable Flash. Each time I restarted, Foxit and Silverlight would be enabled again and Flash disabled again. After about five or six attempts over two days, suddenly it worked.

Has anyone else noticed this behaviour? I don't recall ever having problems disabling unwanted plugins before.

Note: This is about plug-ins, not extensions. And this isn't about permanently disabling or removing plugins.

when I try to log in to Mozilla Add-Ons I get a page that says:

Oops! We had an error.

I have cleared cookies and cache. When I try to sign in to post a question on the Mozilla Add-on Forum I get the message: The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator. But nowhere can I find how to contact a board administrator. HELP!

Sorry folks, I have asked the writer but just want to keep options open.

"Net usage item 1.2.337.1" It used to work. Now it constantly just gives a red circle with a white cross in it.

But, if I RMB in it, and "visit ISP usage page" it works.

So if it opens the link and can show me on a page, SOMETHING has changed, but where? Anyone else have this error?

P.S. My ISP is bigpond.

I've looked a lot in Firefox, checked my add-ons, and searched support forums,but can't find an answer. When I pop out the "options" box, "tabs on top" is faded out & clicking it does nothing.

When in Yahoo mail, the OPEN WEB LOCATION box opens for each letter I try to type in in the "To" line and/or the "Subject" line of any new e-mail to someone. I type a letter, the Box opens, and I cannot type anything in the e-mail window anywhere until I close the box. I close the box, type another letter, and the OWL Box open gain. It takes forever to type anything. This started when I updated Firefox to the new 21 version. I Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. No help. I uninstalled 21 and re-installed 19 (I was using 19 with no problems until today). No help. The problem will not go away. I note that others have complained of this problem. Is there a fix yet? I have been forced back to IE in the meantime.

I have created an XPI AddOn and I am planning to distribute it to my client.

The problem is that XPI can be opened using WinZip or WinRar and users can modify the contents and then repackage the modified contents as XPI again.

Is there a way to password protect the XPI file? Is there a way to add a Date based check so that I can control that no one uses it for more than 30 days?
