within a flash click the opposite mouse button and you may change some Adobe flash settings like allowing camera and microphone access.

but once you've done that Adobe dumps a kind of version checker on your system.

you'll see that after the next boot, when a big standalone window with 'An update to your Adobe Flash Player is available" mid screen occurs subject you player is not the latest.

where is this hecking cookie or whatever stored - can't find it in the registry nor within Docs & Settings or elsewhere.

in my opinion a good role model for all spywarer and really disgraceful for such a big company.

I do not know why but suddenly I never seen cookies in my cookies list even on sites i know for a fact use them and have seen them many many times before like Google maps and such. I did not change any settings just one day i look at cookies to clear them as i usually do and nothing was show, it has been 2 weeks and never a single on show. I have try fiddling with the settings but nothing seems to work I'm worried there might be a virus my anti-virus is not seeing that is hiding the cookies.

I tried and found the personal info folder but there is no folder for the cookies to manually delete them so I can find no way of being sure of what is going on to handling it.

Just added latest cookie control offered by firefox and I want to get rid of it because it conflicts with other security on computer. How do I do this?

Tried to use my email address as user name and I was amazed by the response, presumably because it has the word "v i r g i n" in it. I did not intend to insult anyone it is my email address!

I always run Firefox in private browsing mode. Normally I don't accept cookies, but turn on the 'Accept cookies from sites' when necessary. Until recently when I've selected 'Accept cookies from sites', cookies have shown up in the 'cookies list'. Now they don't. As far as I can tell, I'm not doing anything differently. Resetting Firefox makes no difference.

I just upgraded to Firefox 20.0 and now, apart from my cookies-whitelist having been deleted after the upgrade, it is being deleted every time I close the browser. I've always used private browsing and want to keep it that way, so this bug (I hope it's not intended behaviour) is really annoying. Another thing which has already bugged me since the previous version is, that the cookies set by allowed websites (the ones on the whitelist) are not shown anymore. If cookies have been set, why shouldn't they be shown? The problems persist even with no addons active. I would very much appreciate it if this was fixed or if somebody has a solution to these problems. Thank you.

I have "accept cookies from sites" and "ask me every time" set on FF 20. When I navigate to certain sites, I select "deny" cookies and "use my choice for every cookie", yet I am presented with multiple queries asking me if I want to accept cookies for the site. Apple.com, for instance, just asked me 30 times if I wanted to accept cookies from the site, even though I marked "use my choice for every cookie."

Sometimes FF freezes up and I have to force quit it to deal with the onslaught. This has been a problem for years now, and is very frustrating. Is someone working on fixing it?

i have done everything listed here so many times and nothing is fixing this. Made sure cookies were enabled, cleared cache and cookies, made sure Gmail was approved in security settings, and then as a last ditch effort, I disabled all add-ons for Firefox and still no Gmail... I was so desperate that I even re-installed ff-19 and still cannot get into my email account. What is going on here? Any help or small nudge in the correct direction would be much appreciated!
