I have tried all suggestions to clear what I consider to be malware, Deal Finder which scans the picture of something I am looking at, there is another that creates a window which offers similar products from other sellers. This is only happening on Firefox, not in Explorer and not in Firefox Safe Mode... I think it is within Firefox. I am considering going back to Explorer... so it must be irritating!

I have a Windows 7 32-bit machine for work. I have primarily used Firefox for all my personal web browsing. The other day, Firefox completely crashed on me and I have not been able to get it open since. Safe Mode also does not work. I got this same problem on my old laptop after using Firefox for years. But I was getting a new laptop in a few days anyways so I didn't research it too much. Now that it's happening again on my new laptop (which I've had for several months and have been using Firefox on since then) I would like to find out what the problem is. I've tried opening Firefox and holding down the Shift key and tried Safe Mode as well as resetting. Both options did not work. I also uninstalled Mozilla and deleted all folders I could find with Mozilla on them and reinstalled Firefox but that has not worked either. Please help! Thanks!

Firefox and Internet Explorer both crash at startup. I have tried resetting Firefox but it still crashes. I click on the details box and nothing happens. They will both work fine when I boot up Windows in safe mode.

I have had Firefox for years. Recently my homepage will not open. It opens on IE, but I like Firefox much better. I use www.rr.com as my homepage. I get a message that says the site is temporarily down, but Road Runner denies there is any problem, and it does open in IE. What do I need to do?

This started happening a few weeks back and I can't get rid of the problem. Have looked at other forum entries/responses but I don't have anything suspicious (like Tuto/Sweet etc) in Add or Remove Programmes. Whenever I open Mozilla, tabs for random ads appear. I delete them and then all's fine, until the next time I open Mozilla. Not sure why it's suddenly started happening but would really appreciate your suggestions for stopping it! Many thanks

Dear developers, for some time Firefox has a plugincheck "feature". Is there any way to turn it off? This blocks contents for eg. flash videos, so I have to enable the "old" plugin for each website... I do not care if my plugins are up to date or not. I'll update them if I want to. This is a very annoying thing in the firefox :( I use this browser for many years, but as you develop this, it just getting worse and worse. Slow, eats a lots of memory, some "plugin container" slows my whole system sometime and now this plugincheck. I'm seriously thinking about changig browser if there's no way to turn it off :( Please answer ASAP (no answer, like "we are planing..." is acceptable) Thank You for answering.

The only way I have found to fix this is deleting the cert8.db file. This is happening so often that I can no longer use FF anymore. Why is this file getting corrupt? I have plenty of disk space on this machine so that is not an issue.

In the last few weeks a Warning Box comes up to tell me my Firfox has crashed and if I select the option to discover the casue this comes up. However, I still seem to be able to do everything as normal, go on line etc etc and without this warning box (giving me the option to close the programme and search online for help, Close the Programme and/or Search the cause) I was unaware of any fault or anything different from normal. - What's the Cause and Do I need to do anuything? Hi For years I successfully used the following two proxy.pacs on Windows XP Desk- and Laptops:

..which did work well. Now surfing became extremely slow (about 20 seconds to see a site). When I fill in the IP address of the proxy in the config (instead of a proxy.pac) then firefox works fine again. It looks like the algorithm for interpreting proxy-pacs has changed; maybe for any new URL-connection the pac-file is re-interpreted?

Could somebody please help me?

I want to embed video in my html page and use data URI to provide video source:

This code works fine in Opera and Google Chrome, but in Firefox some of my videos are not properly loaded. Video is playing, but I can't seek in it and don't see its length.

I use Firefox 21 on Centos 6.2 and Windows 7.

My Firefox crashes when trying to open 75% of web pages. I get the windows standard "Firefox is not responding" window after it freezes while trying to load the page.

I have singled out the problem to be the Shockwave Flash (11.5.502.149) plugin as everything works correctly with this disabled.

I have tried updated flash, uninstalling and re-installing it and the same with FF but nothing seems to work so far.

When I enter about:config into the adress box I get only an empty page. The about:config works normally on safe mode.

I have tried to check all boxes in the safe mode window, this did not help. I even manually disabled all add-ons and plugins, but this didn't help either.

Any ideas what to do?

i reset ff but two addons remain, fluxdvd download manager 0.5 been trying to get rid of this one for a long time and microsoft.net framework assistant 0.0.0 .

Firefox is not hanging as I can access all the items in the menu bar and change the settings as well. it just seems to need time before it can connect to my server even though Safari is working fine. Once the page loads up in firefox it works fine after.

I have added 3 email addresses and confirmed them, yet I still get sent back to the dashboard. Infuriating.

I simply want to let Mozilla know that they need to provide an alternate browser for the iPod Touch. Or, if they have, I am having trouble finding it.

The client cert based authentication is working when using IE v8 and IE v9 with the same JRE version (JRE version 1.7.0_25-b16 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM)

Any help to resolve this issue will be very much appreciated.
