With YouTube HTML5 mode (http://www.youtube.com/html5 ) enabled, any video played with the HTML5 player will give me a unresponsive script error on "Script: http://s.ytimg.com/yt/jsbin/html5player-vflGWJljH.js:58"

Note that not all videos play on the HTML5 player. Try this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdgQpa1pUUE

Howard Forum Wiki gives me unresponsive script error as well. Go to http://www.howardforums.com/showwiki.php?title=Android+Wiki:About and click on the Discussion tab and I get an error from "Script: http://www.howardforums.com/clientscript/vault/reset.js?v=3014:285" script.

Today, June 10, 2012, I was asked to update Adobe Flash player, which I did. I was also asked to update Real Player, which I did. I had also updated Firefox before that.

Now, whenever I try to watch a video on Youtube, I get the message: An error occurred. Try again later.

I am using a Dell Inspiron laptop with Vista home basic.

   We have been using Outlook Web Access 2010 within our organization for a few months now, and have been using firefox to do so. With the latest Firefox 8 update, it seems that certain attachments download as "attachment.ashx". Yes, I said ASHX not ASPX. My research tells me that ashx files have to do with the .NET Framework. It seems that this is only occurring since we downloaded Firefox 8.

   Yes, changing the file extension allows us to open the files, and we can set a program to handle the file extension, but that would only apply when the ashx extension is only affecting one file type, but it seems to happen for more than 1 document type. I have experienced this issue with .pdf, .doc, .xls, .docx and .xlsx.

   Any ideas as to what would be causing this as of the latest update?

Since I downloaded the latest version - 6.0 of Firefox, I am having serious slowness of page loads. Nothing has changed in my PC or Network configuration and in the past have had very fast loading of everything - even streaming of videos, etc. The only thing I found in your help about all pages loading slowly was something about a proxy add ons issue - but I don't have that enabled. It seems to be even worst when I am submitting a form -

Helly, my problem started with FF 6. It keeps freezing the whole browser after a few minutes. I think every 15 minutes it's freezing. Now I went to the helpforum and somebody gave the advice to deinstall FF. Run CC Cleaner. And then reinstall FF. I did that, and seems to work. It wasn't hanging anymore. BUT it came back!!! I don't have a clue why. I changed nothing to my pc. Now I have upgraded to 7.0.1 and the problem of freezing is still here. When it freezes, my whole pc freezes. I can do nothing else. please fix it!

Just updated firefox to version 13.0.1 but videos in youtube/facebook etc etc are not playing. Checked all of my plugins and flash, real player, quicktime etc are all up to date.

Anyone got any ideas as to a fix?

I'm unable to play videos of any sort in Firefox (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.). I've installed the latest version of Flash multiple times and I've downloaded the latest version of Firefox. I've also tried disabling Adblock and clearing the cache/history, but nothing works.

After a Google search, when I click on any URL Firefox opens a random url and an "opening search" box pops up with the following message

What should Firefox do with this file ?

just updated to Firefox 13.0 on my mac last night (no plugins so don't blame them!).. man its SLOW SLOW SLOW. Slow loading pages, Slow to load, and slow to open java (even more so then before!) I have an i5 CPU and 8 GB of 1333 Mhz ram in my macbook pro... whats going on.. seems every new release is slower and slower!

P.S. I switched to chrome because of this.. works lightning fast in comparison!

Ok I noticed that the Firefox updates have been coming quite rapidly and that the latest version is Beat. I understand Beta versions will have bugs and kinks that need to be worked out. My Problem is websites load slow as crap or don't load all together. And getting on Facebook? Forget that! Facebook has enough issues without throwing a slow Browser in the mix. My question is this. Does Firefox 7 Beta have some issues with responsiveness and speed? I noticed alot of people having the same issue as far as browsing speed. And before anyone suggests clearing history and cache. I have already done that several times. I have even checked my computer for viruses and anything else that might cause a problem like that. Add-ons and any extra toolbars are either removed or disabled and certain sites will still not load properly. Any extra information or advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you! Firefox is so slow that it is easier to load ie8 and use that. It runs fine. I uninstalled Firefox and rebooted. Did not fix. I ran Glary Utilities and it found 400+ fixes. and rebooted, and did not fix. This problem showed early this morning.

When I let the browser run for an extended period of time, perhaps 3= hours I get a messages like: Unresponsive script messages: Script: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml:0; Script: resource:///components/nsPrompter.js:68;

Ever since I upgraded to version 6 the Orbit down loader will not recognize firefox. Usually the download window has a checkoff for the Orbit down loader. This no longer happens. Any fixes?

how can I get rid of it?

During normal usage Firefox will suddenly stop loading all pages in all tabs/windows. Every currently loading page remains blank, with the usual 'Connecting to ____' message. Any new tabs or windows opened, or any new page requests, get stuck in the same loop. The program itself does not hang and, other than failing to load pages, performs normally. No change in behaviour with all add-ons disabled. Seems to happen with any website, but seems to happen more often on pages with any elements that take excessively long to load. Only current solution is to close program and restart.

This is not a router/connectivity issue, IE and other programs can connect fine while the issue is occurring. Full system virus scan came up empty (Sophos/Ad-Aware/WinDefender). I believe I first starting having the problem with FF6, feels like it has become more frequent with FF7.

Drop in savings menu started coming up on web pages recently-shows up in upper right corner and usually about where the logout word is when you want to close a program upper right corner and shows coupons. not sure if they're usable as I did not ask to be shown anything by the program I did not add so I don't trust where it might take me. How can I eliminate it from the browser or block it from running in the browser? I just need some technical instructions on how to find it when it runs and stop it.
