Using the above phone and the most up-to date version of firefox mobile for android (Ver. 21.0), In the settings it only has the option to Delete Private Data and is unlike the videos i have seen where it also has the option to delete history (just above). Deleting everything from the Private Data does not remove my history. So how do I remove my history? My android version is 4.2.2., Firefox Version 21.0 & the phone is a Google Nexus 4.

Just what the line above says. Im trying to use TOR and cant do so without downloading the Proxy Mobile add-on. Any advice on hoe to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Details:

I am running Firefox 18.0 on Android 2.3.4. I moved Firefox to my 8GB SD Card. This problem happens in Firefox 19 & Firefox 20 as well.

Firefox is using a huge amount of space. It is the largest application on my phone by a long shot. It seems that Firefox will grow without bounds until it triggers a "Low on space" warning on the Android device. When this "Low on space" warning is reached, Firefox becomes unstable, and I am unable to install other Android applications. Often applications are unable to update themselves due to Firefox's high space utilization, and cannot receive security updates which is a security problem.

Please see the following screenshot which shows that Firefox is using about 30MB worth of space, and is about twice as large as the next largest App, Google Maps.

If I go to "Settings: Applications: Storage Use: Firefox", Android tells me that Firefox is using the following amount of space:

   Storage:
   Total: 29.60Mb
   Application: 1.85MB
   Data: 27.76MB

   Cache: 0.00B

When Firefox is freshly installed, the "Total:" use is closer to 3MB. But within a few days, this number grows to 30MB.

We have close to 600 Android Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablets that have Firefox 16.02 installed. Starting last night almost everyone of them is getting a Firefox has crashed message upon launch. We have tried to upgrade them to 18 but that does not resolve it. So far, the only thing we have found to resolve it is to clear the application data, which in turn wipes all settings and bookmarks.

On my PC I clicked "Set Up Sync" and then "I Have an Account" ans it asks to enter the code on my other device. So I went onto my Android Samsung Galaxy Nexus and opened Firefox.

Went to the home screen and there is not Sync button. Only; Top sites, Your tabs from last time, Add-ons for your Firefox, and Synced Tabs.

Going to More -> Settings -> Sync -> Account with Firefox Sync. It only shows an option to not sync and says when it last synced. The more only shows; Sync now, remove account and help.

Where do I enter the code on my Android so I can set up Firefox Sync on my PC?

I have Adobe Flash Player version 11.1.115.47 installed on my Galaxy Note 2. I CAN play videos using Firefox on youtube.com, but I can NOT play any videos posted on Facebook. When I click a Facebook posted video nothing happens, no error messages, no alternative screens. Just nothing. I had the same problem with Adobe Flash player 11.1.115.36, so I upgraded, but clearly that was not the solution :( I also tried to install ADBLOCK add-on and then add a facebook filter, but adding a filter preference is not allowed on the mobile version of ADBLOCK.

Yesterday, I've just update my Firefox to ver 20 but when I browse the news website I didn't find book icon on address bar that activate reader mode. please help me, how to enable it.

I have been using my tf300. Everytime I try to open Firefox on the tablet while using a Bluetooth connection, the only screen that Firefox opens is a generic screen displaying "Offline mode". Is there a way to switch it to online mode or am I only able to use the browser on a wifi signal??

How do I get rid of the Firefox Start Page, and set the default start page to Google? My wife doesn't understand the Firefox Start Page (l also think it's terrible, not to mention noisy)

I can easily set my desired default start page for every other browser on the planet. I haven't figured out how to do it yet with Firefox for Android.

when you clear the history, the "top sites" tab', stays with the url's. How do you clear the "top sites" info. Doesn't make since that you can clear the "history" but not the "top sites"tab. They have some of the same info. What is the point.
