I recently updated to Firefox 20.0 and noticed that the native Inspect Element tool doesn't have an option to display the page css elements along the right-side of the window like it used to. Is there a button somewhere I'm missing that allows this view?

I also noticed that I cannot hit escape to exit the inspector anymore. Why would this option have been removed?

I'm using firefox 17 with Mac OS 10.8.2. Since version 16 of firefox, meta-refresh in html code doesn't work anymore, but same code is working with other browsers.

I got a new MacBookPro a couple of weeks ago, and am unable to get Firefox to load GMail. I've tried lots of the suggestions on here, but none seem to work. I have to use Firefox in order to have access to class through Blackboard, but I can't get my e-mail. It is becoming frustrating.

Hi Every time I open a PDF invoice in the built in PDF viewer - in Firefox Mac - I have to resize the the window and zoom the page to see what's on it. Is there a way to set a default window size that suits me better?

I use Google docs. In Chrome, when I hit print, it brings up a window with all the printing options. In Firefox, when it hit print, it tries download it to my computer. How can I bring up the print options in my browser? Thanks!

I have a very annoying problem with a website that I have uploaded to a hosting server. When I try to view php pages with Firefox in Windows from the server all it says in the browser is "The system cannot find the file specified.". It had been working for years before this and I have not changed anything on the server.

When I use the same link in Internet Explorer, it will load the page. I cleared the IE cache to make sure that IE was not storing it somehow as well and it still worked fine on IE.

It works fine in Firefox 21.0 on Windows XP but fails on Firefox 21.0 on Windows 7. In both cases we have Flash version 11 installed.

I have tried googling that error message but it seems to usually be related to windows files missing etc. and I couldn't not find anything specifically to do with Firefox not loading a page.

I can view a page regularly, like everything is normal until i go to log in. I get a blank page as soon as the page loads, and this happens to many websites. Ive tried searching in safemode, editing my firewall settings, removing cookies, disabling plug-ins, clearing history/cache, but i've had no luck so far. Anyone have any solutions ? I notice that every page i load includes ".php" in the URL bar. Thanks in advance

The built in PDF viewer (pdfjs) is a nice tool, but I'd like to set preferences for it so that:

1) `Page Width' is the default view 2) The sidebar is turned on by default 3) The sidebar shows `Document outline', not `Thumbnails'

Anybody knows whether and how this can be done?

I have an issue with the new retina support in FF18. I have a setup with a Retina MacBook 13" linked to a desktop monitor, which is my main screen. When I open a new window from the main (non-retina) screen and the window is opened on the MacBook (retina) screen, the font is illegible small and/or the screen turns black.

When I drag a window from my monitor screen to my MacBook screen, it gets properly adjusted.

Besides this, FF look great on Retina!

Every time I open firefox I get the "Well, this is embarrassing...." message. I have read everything on the support site that seems to pertain and have tried adjusting settings, but to no avail. The CAN'T RESTORE still pops up. This is not happening as the result of a crash. I have FIREFOX WILL: set to open home page.

I'm running FF 20.2 on Mac OS X 10.8.3. I recently found that item in drop-down menu cannot be selected by clicking, although it can be selected by hitting "enter" on keyboard. I have no add-ons installed so that shouldn't be the problem. Like go to http://www.newegg.com/ and click search menu, I can't select any options. Thanks for your help in advance.

starting with the Firefox update from yesterday, every time I open Firefox i get one of the following;

1. error message stating that Firefox was not able to restore the previous session or 2. a white screen in which the Firefox logo and Google window does not appear.

When I bring up the Print dialog in every application but Firefox, I see a preview of what will come out of the printer. I could use the Print Preview add-on, but I'd like Firefox to be consistent with all of the other apps on my system. Any suggestions?

(Firefox also doesn't print in draft quality, even when I select a pre-defined print setting that works in all other apps. Don't know if that's related, but I thought I'd throw it in.)

I originally loaded 18.0.2 (now have 19.0) on my new Imac and soon started seeing those messages. If I hit "try again" on the error page, I go immediately to the website. I asked about this on the forum and someone else said they had the same problem-immediately after they upgraded from 18.0.1

Out of nowhere, my default language in the spell checker for many, but not all, websites has been switched to Hebrew. I don't know why. I want them ALL to be in English-US. Things suggested I do elsewhere and have done to no avail: I deleted my cache, I re-downloaded and installed Firefox (still on version 20.0), I changed the default language in the preferences.

I'm running a Mac and have not had this problem until a couple of weeks ago and it's driving me crazy.
