Firefox notifies me that I'm not running the latest version (I have 3.6.24 GTB7.1) and to download the version compatible with my older system (Mac Tiger 10.4.11). I click on that link and can find nothing that states what systems the version(s) there are compatible with. I have in the past downloaded and installed an incompatible version, a situation to avoid for obvious reasons.

I was trying to update firefox but my computer is older but eventually it worked, but now on the top row next to firefox it shows the bookmarks etc. in a different language, i think it is dutch. Can you please help me to get it back to US english? Thank you!

When I download pdf files through Firefox, nothing appears - blank page. Sometimes a dialog box appears asking me what application I wish to select and I select Acrobat MS Word is not an option available). I've gone over my settings and preferences but can see nothing that would produce such a result. I am using a G5 iMac.

I have erased and re- uploaded and installed firefox on several occasions now but it does not rectify. I'm on OS 10.4.11 and firefox version it the latest with all flash updates installed.. Sometimes I can go back, most of the time I cannot.. Please help.

So I responded to a prompt (while running Firefox 3.6 on my powermac) to download and install Firefox 4. Great! Well, the install and over-write of 3.6 ran smoothly, but trying to open Firefox 4 there was a message saying the hardware didn't support it. OK fine. But now I have no firefox. Where can I find 3.6.16 to install?

The Firefox 4 beta from a few months ago DID run, so this is curious.

Hi Re Mac intel... Firefox updated to 3.6.14 and advised Flash 10 be installed. I did this and now on YouTube videos all I see is a black screen with no play or pause button. System is OS X10.4.11 Do I need to uninstall Firefox and re load an earlier version and an earlier version of Flash etc... will I lose my bookmarks and firebug? If so not worth it. Would really appreciate help so sad not to be able to view any YouTube. Many thanks, Clare

I had no Bookmarks or History system when I logged in this morning. I re-booted and tried the suggestion from the support page, nothing. There is a banner heading stating "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem."...What do I do?

Can bookmark folders and their contents be sorted automatically into alphabetical order? I get tired of having to resort each folder and it's contents when I add something new.

Why does Firefox constantly go into "Work offline" mode on the "File" tab? I have NEVER told it to do that, and every time I uncheck it, pretty soon it's in that mode again, w/ out my action. Very frustrating!

upgraded to 3.6, lost bookmarks, lost bookmarks toolbar, lost bookmarks library, can't go to previous backup, get error message. Don't have Torbutton. Can't save new bookmarks. Autofill remembers. Remember history is on.
