DivX Plus Web Player HTML 5 [video] is incompatible with Firefox 4.0b8. <=(disable reason) So i can no longer stream my fav movies. Also, when i click play, sometimes my trafic bar goes crazy like it's downloading from the source, but i have no image or sound just like the divx web player is crashed. So please can you help me? The web player worked on FF 3 and on Opera...

Also, Bitdefender Antiphishing Toolbar, Cooliris and some Microsoft Framework stuff are incompatible with Firefox 4.

hi, I downloaded firefox 4 beta to browse google body i've checked webgl config and it was true for all web sites, still the site doesn't work and still ask for webgl supporting browser!!!!!!!

Whenever I stop moving my mouse (while hovered over a Firefox window) Firefox freezes and does nothing until I move the mouse again (or back on a window). It doesnt even load pages or anything, it just freezes, but unfreezes immediatly when the mouse is moved again. It does also seem to semi-unfreeze while typing.

There also seems to be a related problem with Flash, after some time working with Firefox and then opening a Flash element initially does nothing, but interacting (AKA clicking, hover ing does not affect this but actually affects the flash) freezes the browser, but not the sound, minimizing or attempt to close (with multiple tabs open) fixes the freeze.

just downloaded 4.0b8 a couple days ago. i don't care for it at all. makes me realize how happy i was with 3.6. just don't need all the new bells and whistles of 4.0b. plus i find it hard to navigate.

i want to downgrade back to 3.6.  how can i get it back? desperate.

Instead of Google, I am getting about:home as the default start page, and it redirects to ask.com instead of to Google when doing a search. I think the search page was open yesterday when the computer shut down due to a transient power outage, and it was on Google. I could try restarting Firefox again, but it will probably take ten minutes to reload everything I have open with my slow connection.

Signed up for Firefox 4 on my desktop @ work but my web based time sheet provider won't allow me access with a "beta" browser, so I need to revert back to Firefox 3 (most current non beta version).

I've tried about:config, there are no entries there for vshare, plus it has already been removed as an add-on. It's still there! Help! I want to the Google one back. I've also changed the default address to Googles as well.

Well I like the new interface and I always liked the stability of Firefox. But this version it "feels" slower. When I open 5-6 tabs, when I want to change to another tab it takes about half a second (maybe even less) to change to the that other tab... It's not my hardware I know that for sure, other browsers (Google Chrome, Opera etc.) work fine.

Now firefox reminds me of Internet Explorer. Cause IE had that problem since 7.0 version came out. And I don't like it... It ruins browsing experience. It gets very annoying.

FF beta 8 worked fine but after I updated to beta 9 it will not even start up. This is on Red Hat Linux 5.4.. When I start it using the terminal I get this error - firefox-4.0-beta/firefox-bin: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /home/xxxx/firefox-4.0-beta/libxul.so) I know that's because of my g++ version, but I can't update it myself since it is a company machine. Is there no way to retain the compatibility of beta 8, which works fine?

I have FF4 beta, this started since FF4 beta 7. I work on Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

The problem is that I can't see drop down menus unless they have alot of items, nor context menus (like highlighting a text then right-clicking it), auto fill bars don't show the auto fill info entered before .. the menu itself appears, kinda. but it's transparent and the I can't see the items, don't know where to click to select the thing I want.

I haven't got this problem before 4.0b7 .. after I got it, I thought it was one of the plugins, so I disabled them all but still have the problem!

After switching to FF4 from FF3.6 scrolling buttons on my Acer Aspire 7720G with Alps touch pad don't work in browser only.Also scrolling on the edge of touchpad is off. Also noticed that if I click on any text on the page, pointer leaves the typing cursor on that place (as in the search box). Another click moves typing cursor to a new position.Any ideas? P.S.Reinstalling drivers didn't help P.P.S However external USB mouse works just fine.

FF 4.0b8 is my default browser and MS Outlook 2003 my default email program. When I open an email containing a link to a website and click on it, no FF window is opened. This problem did not exist with Internet Explorer.

As an alternative solution, I've tried copying the website link from the email, but then I find that it can't be pasted on an open FF window either.

I cannot copy website addresses from Firefox tabs and paste them in other windows or tabs. Erasing AppInit_DLLs only solves the problem temporarily, then it reappears. There is no malware (pushow or new.net) in the system.

Sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after a few hours, Firefox (yes, I am sure. I've operated without Firefox for days at a time, but soon after running it my PC always froze) freezes my whole PC. There is still image present on both of my monitors, and I can hear the last second or half a second of audio looping indefinitely. The freeze STAYS (tested waiting for a few hours). Won't disappear, so I have to hard reset every time.

This has started happening completely randomly, I have not installed any new extensions, user scripts or anything else. This has started about a week ago. I've been using Firefox for years without any such problems, and this particular install for about one year.

This issue has first appeared in Firefox 3, so I updated to FF4 beta 6. Issue was still present. Updated to FF4 beta 8. Issue is still present.

Linked a Crash ID which may or may not be linked to this problem. It's just the last one I had, from a few days ago.

I would also like to mention I tried renaming my profile, as someone recommended on some forum I found on Google. Didn't help.
