Somehow my default search engine has been changed from Google to something called "My Web Search". I want to switch it back to Google, but I can't figure out how. I disabled the plugin and removed it from my search engine options in the upper right corner, but nothing has changed.

Ever since I updated to Firefox 3.6.7, Flash is not working properly. I updated my Flash, but that did not fix the problem. Has anyone else run into this since updating Firefox?

I would like to play some basic online games that not show up properly in safari, so i thought maybe installing firefox would be a solution. Is there any way i can do that on an iPad? Thanks

iframe does not work in firefox. I can't click anything inside the iframe, i can't scroll, i can't do anything with it. But in other browsers it works just fine.

well i recently downloaded this one add on called 1 Click YouTube Download. and it worked perfectly fine for about a month or so, and i tried downloading another video yesterday and just now and it won't work. on the downloads pop up box it just says 0bytes and its like this for every video! i tried flv, mp4, 3GP and i even tried to use another add-on called Easy YouTube Download and that doesnt work either! it just tells me to save and then goes to the download pop up box and then it says completed with 0bytes.

Once logged in to facebook (www.facebook.com) I am taken to http://www.facebook.com/home.php? and this website works. However if i go to click facebook in my favourites the page turns white. This also happens if i click on my profile. It seems that any website liked to 'www.facebook.com', for example www.facebook.com/USERNAME, comes up with a white page.

For some reason, since I updated to version 3.6 of Firefox, JavaScript no longer works.

I have checked existing help files which asked me to check the Options under the Tools menu.

These are my settings, which should work, but do not:

1. On the Content tab, "Enable JavaScript" is checked. 2. Under advanced options, the following are checked:

    a) Move or resize existing windows
    b) Disable or replace context menus

Theoretically this should work, but does not. Scripts simply fail to execute. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Hello to the to the Firefox team ,

When one click a eMule or aMule (P2P) link , there is no

option to associate it with /usr/bin/ed2k (the P2P program) .

In former versions you had to go in "about:config" and enter a New then Boolean with as name :

    "network.protocol-handler.external.ed2k"  and value :

    "true" 

Then again New String "network.protocol-handler.app.ed2k"

with "/path/to/ed2k" as a value .

I have Firefox 3.6.7 on a Fedora 13 O.S. and the classic

doesn't do the trick . How comes ?

Now I get a warning window witch basically says : (translated & abbreviated from Dutch)

" don't now how to open this address , this protocol (ed2k) isn't associated with any program "

Only option is the OK button , end of history , no way to

associate , as explained in MIME types etc.. ...

I've no idea , and there seams to be nobody else having

the problem , there isn't anything in the FAQ's or the

knowledge base .

Firefox hangs when I try to load YouTube videos, especially the ones embedded in a blog/facebook. After few minutes of hanging, the browser color fades and shows the massage "not responding" on the bar at the top of the window (Where firefox icon is showing). If I press "Ctrl+Alt+Del", Windows freeze (mouse and keyboard won't work as well) and I can't do anything but turning the system off the hard way. When I open the task manager from the start menu and try to end the process (firefox), the regular warning shows up and nothing happens after I press "OK" button. If I try to restart Windows while Firefox is not responding, Windows will ask me to choose one of following 2 options: “Restart Anyways” or “Cancel to go back to quit Firefox”, but it freezes and again I can't do anything but turning the system off the hard way.

I re-installed the flash plug-in and it seems to work after I do so, but it will hang again after a while (few days, sometimes few hours after). I disabled all the plug-in and turning them on one by one to see if they are causing the problem, but YouTube seem to work when I am trying to check. However, It will hang again after I browse for a while.

This is really frustrating because I have to force quit the whole system everytime this happens. Please give me an advice if there is a solution.

My firefox spellcheck doesn't seem to be working; that's assuming it exists at all.For example when I misspell a word when composing an email, using hotmail and I try to correct it using hotmail's spellcheck, I get a message saying that I'm using a browser that has it's own inbuilt spellcheck. If it's inbuilt how on earth do I find it?

My Bookmarks Library doesn't respond, or responds very slowly. Problem started when I downloaded the latest version of Firefox today, so I re-downloaded, but I still have the problem.

"Software Update Failed: The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer, and then restart Firefox to try again."

I have erased and re- uploaded and installed firefox on several occasions now but it does not rectify. I'm on OS 10.4.11 and firefox version it the latest with all flash updates installed.. Sometimes I can go back, most of the time I cannot.. Please help.

Taken straight to http://www.landing.savetubevideo.com/ Hitting the back-key in FF takes me back to my gmail page Any form that I try to fill, takes me to the savetube landing page. A blank page with a Google search box. Have run Mcafee, Sophos anti rootkit, MalwareBytes, reset some values in about:config. Still no luck. Thanks
