I was trying to update firefox but my computer is older but eventually it worked, but now on the top row next to firefox it shows the bookmarks etc. in a different language, i think it is dutch. Can you please help me to get it back to US english? Thank you!

I am getting alerts that my version of Firefox will not be supported much longer but I can't find an upgrade that works on my Mac Mini running MAC OSX 10.4.11. Shall I use a different browser?

i cannot watch news or sports video clips . i keep getting told i need to download the latest adobe flash player. when i try to do so i click save file and then click run . after a few seconds i get a message from host which reads process not elevated, i have also tried to uninstall my old version of adobe but i am unable to do so

I have got: Macintosh PowePC-processor G4 MacOS 10.5.8 Firefox 3.6.25 I got a message from Firefox that I should upgrade Firefox. With the information that it´s not possible to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox. Does it exist a version of Firefox higher than 3.6.25 that is possible to install om my Macintosh ? When I studied the actual message from Firefox I got lost and did not find information if it es possible to upgrade more than to 3.6.25 - or does it in some way exist a newer version of the very 3.6.25 that would be possible to install om my PowerPC-Mac ?

I had to go back to 3.6.25 after installing 9.0.1, as it does not support URL Advisor and encrypted keyboard. I find this alarming. Kasperskey is one of the best Internet Security Programs. I know personally that it is the best, and swear by it. Why would your programmers not just simply include what was, you would have kept the many users of Kasperskey products. WILL YOU EVER FIX THIS ISSUE?

Every time I try to watch a video or movie, I get a notice telling me to get the new Adobe Flash Player. After trying to download it a number of times and failed, I uninstalled the version that came with OSX (as instructed as some point). That did not work.

I then re-installed the version that I had and am still in the same predicament.

I now even have regular sites (e.g. dictionary) telling me that I need to add plugins. When I click on "add" I am always directed to the Flash Player download.

QuickTime says I don't have the proper plugin but my computer says I have 7.6.4 and there are no problems.

The only plugin that shows (無効 - invalid) is Gecko.

Is it not possible to watch anything in this environment? Do I need to cancel my movie subscriptions?

I was recently prompted to update firefox and did so. Up came a message saying newest Firefox is not compatible w my mac OS. I am not certain exactly which version, it was the one that auto-installed -- or tried to.

Help, please, by suggesting which OS is highest I can use on my Mac G4 and which version of Firefox is compatible w that (or a higher possible) OS.

PS At this time I cannot afford a new mac

I didn't quite remember my pass name, and so I had it changed, but the old ones keeps coming up. I was able to get rid of the old password that kept coming up also by going into preferences and getting it deleted, but there's no place to do that for pass names.

I cannot update my version, 3.6.25, of Firefox to Firefox 4. The System Requirements exclude my computer. It has OS X 10.4.11 and a PowerPC G4 processor, ancient indee.

Does this mean I should find a non-Firefox browser? I'm not ready to buy a new computer.

When I use Firefox to browse the web or go to sites that I need to be secure, I get a message to update to the latest Firefox version. I tried to do that, but got the message that my computer operating system could not be updated to the new Firefox version. I am wondering how long I will be able to use my present version. also will this version continue to be secure?

When I down load the latest version of firefox supposidly compatible with my compute I get a message it is not compatible and I should dowm load the latest version tha tis compatible with my system, 10.4.11 running on a G 5 based machine. NOT INTELL! So what is the appropriate version and please send me a link!!

I have already upgraded, and found that useful items like right click "search google for "xxx"" were not available any more, and that tool bars had changed. So I would prefer to stay with 3.6.25 until thing improve, so I would like to know how do I disable updates so I can stay with 3.6.25?

I guess it could be a new virus, but I've run up-to-date AVG, Adaware, and SpybotSD ... something just shut me out of using search engines from Firefox ... my Firefox is the slightly older version [3.6.25] simply because I don't like the new format they introduced , really was a step backwards as I see it, but the older version is still supposedly supported as I understand it... I have checked what sites are blacklisted and the cookies and can find no explanaton for this rather catastrophic and seemingly very deliberate shut-out ... seems like something a disgruntled person might put out on the web so it may be spreading ...

It is just a search bar in upper right hand corner. I did not install it and cannot delete it. I saw it mentioned on the internet that it might be connected with a malware. I don't remember where I found a list of search bars but I even clicked on the box to remove the 'complitly' search bar but nothing happened. I have used several scanners looking for malware but nothing shows up.

I was watching ewtn youtube channel and mistakenly clicked on a little window that said block. Now the picture is gone and I don't know how to unblock it. PLEASE help
