and i have to close it or press ok in the window to make the browser launch, this also happens every time i open a new window or a pop-up window is launched and now it also does this when i open a new tab or change to an already open one, it says: Exc in ev handl: Error: Bad NPObject as private data!

I went to the remove programs screen on my control panel and there is nothing there to remove for StartNow or Bing. I removed a cookie for Start Now, but it did no good. I suspect this is a scam of some sort. Banks have fraud departments that they ask recipients to forward this type of e-mail to. Do you have the same type of policy?

Having an intermittent problem (90% of the time) creating and replying to emails in Hotmail. We can read emails okay and when trying to write or reply to an email all other aspects of the page are fine (menus, To:, CC:, Subject boxes etc ) except the area where you type the email. This is populated with the term "Bad Request". Works okay in IE and I have tried the Firefox cookies/cache clearing trick and tried Firefox safe mode to no avail. This has been a problem for about four days and it did not coincide with any Firefox updates to the best of my knowledge. Any help appreciated. Thanks

I have Windows XP. There is no way to contact Mindspark without indicating products that have nothing to do with the problem; I do not want to accidentally install any of their products. Firefox used to open with my iGoogle homepage when I opened it up. I have created my personal homepage and that's what I want when I open. Suddenly, it started opening with the last page I was on in a previous session. When I noticed this, I made sure to close every page that was open before I signed off Firefox. Still, it will open with the last page of the previous session.
All I want is for Firefox to open my iGoogle page every time, as my homepage, when I go online with Firefox. How do I do that? I think I've checked some box I didn't intend to but I cannot find what it is. Is this something I do through Google? If so, sorry, but this is annoying and wasting a lot of my time figuring out how to make my life 'easier.' thanks.
