When I try to view the Content tab in Preferences, it shows the last tab I clicked on. For example, when I click on Tabs and then try to view the Content tab, it shows the Tabs tab.

I comment on a certain blog everyday and firefox never remembers my account. I just minimize or close firefox and it will make me sign up again even though I commented earlier in the day.

I am working with Firefox 3.5.8 and I create websites with Dreamweaver as part of CS4. I can Preview my sites in 3.5.8 but when I upgraded last time I could no longer Preview in Firefox. So I had to de-install and go back to my previous Firefox. Has this been fixed in the newest version 3.5.17? Cos if it hasn't I won't be upgrading.

I am using a computer in my office which is a shared computer with the server so if i use the private browsing mode whether is it possible to track my browsing history in the server computer. I understand the private browsing mode will not save any browsing history in my system but my question is will the history save on the server computer or not.. please post me a detailed answer.

i upgraded my firefox to 3.6.4 but when i add some add-ons it tell me that i have 3.5.8 & i have to upgrade it ... i reinstall 3.6.4 several times but still the same problem ...

I can't easily use the search box, either within websites or the top right google search. I type one letter and cursor de-activates. So if I do want to use it I have to type the letter then cliclick the next space with the mouse, then type the next letter, then click etc. I still have 3.5.8 for Mac as the problem first occurred when I updated to 3.6 so I re-installed the earlier version. Its now occurred in this one too. I have All In One Sidebar, xmarks and Web Developer installed.

My computer won't boot but all of my files are intact. I want to recover my book marks on my new computer, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get back into the old operating system to create the export file.

In IE the clipboard data be retrieved via the JavaScript command “clipboardData.getData(‘Text’);”. Is there a comparable JavaScript command for accessing the clipboard data in firefox?

The firefox browser that I am testing with has AllowClipboard Helper configured to allow the web server access to the clipboard.

anytime i am on the internet, i just can't play online games, load videos, or simply watch them on youtube. Firefox says i have to install adobe player but i can't load it (there is a "loading error" message everytime i try).

When I start FF, the page says server was reset before loading complete, yet my other system does just fine with same version of FF. Just started last night and haven't gone to malicious website as they are blocked by Avast well and no emails came in. Even reinstalled FF. Please advise. Thanks everyone.

As the question says, I can't seem to install v.7 correctly. I can download it. Open the file. Start to install it... but then nothing happens. When I open Firefox again (after rebooting sometimes) I still get version 3.5. Is there something I'm not doing?

Now that I look at the trouble shooting info I'm not sure. Every website I go to that requires a recent version of Firefox says I need to update my browser because it's old. I can't even access Google+ which I would like to use because it thinks my version of Firefox is 3.5. Suggestions?

When I am on a website on the internet and try to print, Firefox makes me Save the pages as a document and will not print directly from the website. This is very aggravating. Any suggestions on how to stop this?

All my extensions are disabled. and I want to use firefox gmail and see all my features. What gives?
