I recently installed Firefox, and when I open the google firefox homepage, the language is in arabic, and I don't see the option of English anywhere on the page.. So please tell me how can I turn it into English ..

Have tried 4 times to download Firefox 4 and each time it seems to be working OK, but when I go to move the firefox symbol onto the Application symbol, the firefox symbol has an X in an O indicating that it won't work and doesn't. Note says that the architecture won't support the new download. Can I get the update and if so, how? Dave Morrison

A couple of days ago, my computer (mac OS X 10.4.11 PPC) suddenly seemed to stop recognizing that I had flash installed and wouldn't play anything requiring flash - instead a message came telling me to install it.

I uninstalled flash and the installed the latest version for my computer from the adobe website (which is 10.1.102.64).

Computer still thinks flash isn't installed and when I checked plugins I discovered firefox has blocked it telling me the version of flash I want to use is too old (even though the version I've downloaded is the latest I can use with my computer).

How can I enable the plugin on firefox so I can use flash? The 'enable' button on the plugin has been greyed out so I can't press it.

Please help - I'm rubbish with computers so please give any advice in very simple language! ( i have firefox 3.0.4)

I am a complete novis with the linux system, it was a gift to me, I can in no way get the up date to install on the system, i have tried every which way i can think of...please please help!!

I recently downloaded firefox 3.6.3 and I started to receive problems. Firefox started to crash and after turning it on one day i found that my history and bookmarks are gone. When going onto Firefox a white screen comes up and I can not longer press the forward, back, reload and stop loading button. How do I fix these problems

My HP Mini has a setting called Splashtop or QuickWeb where I can just start using the internet without loading all of the windows software, however my homepage has recently started showing a message that my firefox browser is outdate and may be prone to attack. I hav tried downloading the firefox 4 to a usb drive but I cannot get it to run. Can anyone help? In the normal mode I have had no problem updating firefox.

hello. i am using an eee pc 901 with Xandros Linux on it, which currently has firefox 3.0.4 on it

i need to run firefox 4 on it now, as some sites i use can not be used anymore with firefox 3.4

i regally wipe, and re-install and update my eee pc 901 from scratch, and when i open the internet for the first time i get recommended to download firefox 4 for linux. however once i download it, does not install, and all can seem do is save it as a folder.

how do i install it to my to my eee pc 901, as there appears to be no installer? many thanks

This all started when I mistakenly clicked "Restore Default..." instead of "Done" when I was customizing the toolbars. How do I get the error console to stop coming up??

Every time I access e-mail, a pop-up box appears saying that I'm using an old version of Firefox, and I should update. But when I click on the "update now" box, another message appears saying that "your current system is incompatible with updating." So what am I supposed to do?

When I installed the Firefox update for my Eee PC 900 Netbook it worked fine until a couple weeks ago when lots of problems started. First, Firefox wouldn't let me open up two windows without Firefox crashing. Also, the bookmarks is not working and so is the screen capture.

I have an EEE PC 7.0.1 running Linux and when I try to install Firefox 9.0.1. I get a Download Error as follows: \tmp\firefox 9.0.1. tar-2.bz2 could not be opened because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preference. I am new to computers and I do not know where or how to do what they say. What is an "association" , where do I find "preferences", ??? can you give me a step-by-step instruction please?

trying to upgrade to firefox 4. Got error message after dropping the icon in the applications folder. "the operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some items"

when I go to a website that has a product and click on view larger image, the image is so big that the close or go back button is off the screen. I can't move the image or scroll, as these seem to be disabled. There is no way to go back to the product description.

Is there a way to close the window or resize the picture in Firefox so that I can continue browsing?
