Hi. I can't get rid of opt.dealply.com. I'm pretty sure it's tracking my behavior, and it slows my system down. I can't uninstall it from Windows XP Professional, the dealply uninstall program doesn't work, and the Firefox do-not-track feature does no good. Can anyone help?

I keep getting this popup when using Firefox: "WARNING! your flash player may be out of date." I can tell it's phishing and I've never had this problem before. How can I get this to stop when using Firefox? It doesn't happen with IE.

SUPPOSEDLY this issue was solved; it wasn't, not by any of the answerers. I solved it. I tried Search Reset 0.2 and found that it did NOTHING. Same problem: Every time you open a new tab, Bing opens the accursed thing (I blame Mozilla because when I installed the package I got from their site, it informed me during installation that it was optimized for Bing and I LOATHE Bing and was pissed because no non-Bing alternative was offered), NOT the default New Tab page with recently used page panes on it. I removed a disabled toolbar incompatible with this newer version of Firefox, uTorrent Community Toolbar, and Webroot toolbar (keep in mind that the Search Reset is supposed to be a No Restart Required add-on). I restarted, opened a new tab, and was gratified to see NO BING BULLCRAP.

One might argue that this was covered and closed already. Not exactly, not specifically. Generalities are NO GOOD for specific problems. I can't explain WHY this worked, because NONE of the toolbars had anything to do with Bing, and none of the toolbars in question had been active (uTorrent Community Toolbar had been removed in Control Panel> Programs & Features, yet still showed up in Firefox's toolbars list; this seems to happen with Firefox sometimes).

I don't need an answer...NOW, but I think a few others might find this works for them. For a variety of reasons, not everyone will get the same results, or even SEE this problem on their systems. I would have added this to the question that didn't satisfy me, but someone CLOSED it.

After i updated to the latest flash player (11.7) I have problems with video streaming. The video plays but after a while the audio stops and the video will keep playing but will also stop after a few seconds. Is the new flash player update at fault?

Facebook does not open at all. All I could see is a blank page with the address (https://fa...) displayed in the tab. I updated from 18 to 19 but the problem persists. Please help me.

It only happens if I go from a streaming video tab to another tab or browser screen/software etc. anything that switches the main view of my screen from the video and back will cause this problem.

it will play fine at first, but once I look at facebook or bring up itunes etc, and switch back (usually doesnt occur right away, but once the video is a minute or two in it will 100%) the video will start to lag horribly and will never get back on track. the play buttons on youtube/netflix even stay as pause buttons even though I can click play and pause back and forth functionally, and the audio will never skip a beat, but the video will stop dead, lag a few frames and stop dead again and will never correct unless I refresh the page. I can't recreate this in chrome, I've cleared my history and caches, upped the storage size on the main cache and tried updating various things like flash and firefox (19.0) but nothing is solving it!

Every time that I try to get on YouTube or certain other sites, Firefox locks up for at least 60 seconds. Eventually I have to use Task Manager to close firefox. Then I have to go to IE or Chrome to view the pages.

I can get no help on this matter. I have tried every recommendation. I am afraid that firefox has no interest in solving this. I can use IE or Chrome [or Safari] without problem.

by the way, every time I try to contact firefox I have to register under another ID. My ID NEVER works and firefox NEVER sends a Password help email. EVERY time firefox says that my email is already used for firefox, but I NEVER receive ANY password email help at my address.

some key words in different web site are in blue for you to click on to get information i move the mouse over to one and a bubble window comes up about Coupon Drop Down..i have tried everything to get rid of this in the browser there no add/on with it and no extensions with it and its not in windows add/remove programs this only happens on firefox not on IE i have run melware and nothing comes up some how i know theres away to remove this but im lost i tried everything but reinstall firefox..i would do that but i dont want to lose my bookmarks or my other settings or my skin...any ideas i need so help please

I am using windows 7, Firefox was working correctly but few days back when my system engineer installed Symantec end point protection and domain. My Firefox start freezing very frequently (It is not crashing). But it is too irritating to work now.

I want to use same in future. Please help me to resolve the same.

I have had no previous problems with loading Facebook until today. The page loads with text only, flush left, no graphics, and it loads very slowly.

I have deleted my cache, history, cookies. I have restarted in Firefox Safe Mode. Nothing has worked.

As far as I know I am running the latest versions of Java and Flash Player.

Da ich der englischen Sprache nicht gerade sehr mächtig bin und bis Firefox 18.0.0 stets alle Tabs, Befehle, Dropdowns u.a. auf Deutsch vorhanden waren, ist dies sehr ärgerlich. Ich dachte zunächst, dass es sich nur um einen Fehler dieses speziellen Updates handeln würde, doch mit dem neuesten Update 19.0.0 hat sich an den englischsprachigen Einstellungen nichts geändert.

Wie also kann ich Firefox wieder auf Deutsch umstellen, ohne es komplett neu installieren zu müssen??

I downloaded some program from cnet, which used to be a reputable source, but now seems to be riddled with malware. The item I downloaded was not what I thought it was and I promptly removed it from my computer. I also managed to remove snap.do toolbar from all my browsers and my computer with little effort. HOWEVER, I cannot seem to get rid of snap.do. It seems as though it has hijacked the startpage of all my browsers, IE, Chrome,Safari, and Firefox all show snap.do whenever I open them. Of course I can click past this and go to a different page with no trouble. I can reset the homepage in tools-internet options and every time I hit the little house button, I can go back to that homepage. BUT if I turn my browser OFF, when I turn it back on, snap.do is the homepage once more. I have run anti-malware from Kaspersky and Webroot, neither finding anything. I have reset Firefox. I have done a flushDNS through config. I have checked all the settings for the LAN, Internet protocol, and HOSTS folder. I have even reset the router to factory settings. I am at a complete loss. All I want is for my homepage to come up when I open my browser, any browser. Since Firefox is my preferred browser, I am asking you. I installed something and it changed my home page to bing AND whenever I click the button to open a new tab it goes to a site http://search.conduit.com/?ctid=CT3281675&octid=CT3281675&SearchSource=15&CU Instead of the normal options for new tabs, like recent pages visited. I uninstalled the stupid entrusted add-on and I reset my home page to what I wanted, but I can't get rid of the new tab opening option to that site instead of the default. Can someone please help me fix it.

Firefox used to delete history just fine, before the recent update. I have my history settings to "never remember history" and clear my history after signing out of any website. Firefox also used to log me out of all sites with the click of the "clear all history" button, but it now remains signed in. This is really annoying and troublesome and a waste of time for me to always have to sign in and out of every one of my accounts. I also cleared my history and still have youtube videos in the "recommended for you" section after I signed out and cleared my history, meaning it didn't actually clear it. When I open the "history" tab, it does not show any history.

We are FireFox users and seem to be having two issues with Yahoo.

1. No Yahoo webpage will display correctly. No images will show and the webpages seem to display in an un-formatted manner. Also, any Yahoo webpage is very slow to load.

2. Our Yahoo Mail account has recently become un-responsive while using Mozilla FireFox. For example, if we reply to an e-mail in Yahoo, the address does not show up and we cannot type the message. We cannot send mail in Yahoo while using Mozilla FireFox.

I have been talking with Yahoo and they are now saying that it is a Browser issue.

Can anyone assist with this please?

If you right click an image on a website and choose "save image", it will be downloaded again. It is already in the browser cache though. There are addons which let you pick it from the cache.

Why doesn't Firefox just save the cached image and instead downloads it again? There seems to be no obvious rationale to do it like that (and lots to use the cached version).

These two websites open on re-boot, or when I'm idle on firefox.

How do I fix this issue?

When I open a new tab, I get a screen that has pictures of my most current sites I have gone to. How do I have those removed so when I click on the "+" (for new tab) that it goes directly to "Mozilla Firefox Start Page"?
