I tried to uninstall the toolbar through Control Panel and changing browser settings and it worked temporarily a couple of times, but the toolbar keeps coming back. Now a window has opened up and can't be closed. it says:" browser settings change, an unknown change was detected on your browser search settings: keep current settings" or "I'm aware if this change and approve it". I have 2 accesses to firefox: one on the bottom toolbar and one on the screen. This window stops me from accessing firefox from the toolbar. It looks like very soon I won't have access to firefox anymore. I found a site that claims to remove it but provides ni identity: http://removal-tool.blogspot.com/2012/01/remove-funmoods-browser-extension.html is it safe to try it?

I have AVG antivirus software as an add on - this worked with the previous version of firefox but no longer works with version 10. I use to find the information as to the safety of sites a major help as to whether to visit the sites or not. Is there any way I can reincorporate the AVG add ins or is there an alternative?

I have also lost HP smart web printing - is there a way I can re-instate or is there an equivalent?

FoxTab 1.4.4 stopped working.all i get is ablue window where the grid ith my topsites use to be.i tried removing the extension then re-installing it but I get the same condition.Anyone got any ideas.Oh Yes there was a windows update this morning

Apres avoir remis la page de démarrage (par "outils""options""general") à "afficher ma page d'accueil" puis avoir mis sur la page d'accueil "http\\www.google.com/ig" puis "OK" , si j'arrete firefox , quand je le redémarre, la page de démarrage devient "http\\searchnu.com/406" Que faire pour retrouver automatiquement ""www.google.com/ig" comme sur les anciennes versions de firefox??

The latest Flash download has incapacitated Foxtab, I have UN-installed it several times only to discover it goes back to original state when I re-install. I have UN-installed Firefox 4 times and this has made NO difference. There is clearly something VERY wrong with the Adobe Flash download.

I cannot properly test the latest version of RealDownloader; add-on is disabled in FF 10. I have the latest version of RealDownloader, in which the incompatibility with FF10 is supposed to be fixed.

I sometimes (but not always) get this error code when trying to access facebook: www.facebook.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names:

 a248.e.akamai.net , *.akamaihd.net , *.akamaihd-staging.net  

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

This is usually a problem for short time, but will reoccur throughout the day for 2-3 days, and then not be a problem for a month or more. I don't know what why this occurs, nor what I can do about it.

I use Firefox 10.0.2 and mac osx 10.5.8

Every time I upgrade, Firefox begins checking compatibility of add-ons every time it starts. And it brings up the "Hooray! Your Firefox is up to date" page every time too. How to fix?

I've seen a few posts about the AVG 2012 Search, but none match what I'm looking for.

My homepage is set to google.ca, and my quick search toolbar is set to google as well with all other search engines removed.

I didn't have this problem before until yesterday when I formatted my computer and re-installed everything.

If I type in the address bar terms to search, hit enter, it use to come up with a Google results page. Now when I type up there, hit enter I get an AVG secure search page powered by Google, and the address bar icon changes from a Google logo to AVG.

Only if I type in the address bar. When I open a new tab the cursor always defaults into the address window not the google search page so, always forget to click into the google page and type. In any case, if I search with the google search bar or on the google webpage it's fine, it's just if I type in the address bar and hit enter that I get this http://isearch.avg.com page.

Anyway to switch it back to google?
