Hello everyone, This is driving me crazy! I've been trying to fix this a couple of times but no luck.

I'm trying to watch youtube videos on firefox and so whenever i try to enable flash player it just freezes my firefox...

I've uninstalled flash, installed latest/oldest, uninstalled firefox, restarted my comp, deleted the directory, disabled hardware acceleration, cleared cache and no luck...

When I use html 5 it doesn't freeze though I don't want to use it because it doesn't have 240p quality option.

Sometimes when flash player is enabled it doesn't freeze instantly only when i enable html5, play a video, close it then enable flash player addon then load the video which doesn't freeze until 3 mintues then freezes completely.

Ideas? Thank you.

Is the latest Java 7 update 17 safe to enable now? I noticed after updating, it was still disabled, but no longer blocked in red by Firefox. My assumption is that it's safe, since not "in the red" currently. However, I'd like to be sure before I re-enable it. Thanks!

Is there any way to start Firefox for Android in private browsing mode by default ?

I have tried searching here (didn't find a solution) and also tried changing the setting in about:config but that didn't work.

It would also be nice to set FF for Android to clear private data on exit/quit.

Solutions to either problem would be greatly appreciated.

My company uses Outlook and Lync on Windows 7. Prior to upgraded to Firefox 21, I could open an appointment in Outlook, then click on a "join the call" link. This would trigger a page in Firefox, that would in turn trigger the Lync application to launch the call.

Since the upgrade, instead of launching Lync, it takes me to a page that offers options such as "join meeting using your web browser," "download and install Lync Attendee," and "use Communicator." This is not the desired behavior. Pasting the "join the call" link into Internet Explorer and Safari for Windows executes the correct behavior. It's as though Firefox is not aware of Lync. This behavior literally started after the updated to Firefox 21.

How do I correct this?

Hi, after updating to Java 7 update 10 Java stopped working. Plug in checker indicates Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.100.18 is installed correctly, but Java test page says plugin needed and Java Runtime Environment 1.7 u10 is available. Install fails. Uninstalled Java and tried manual install (including as administrator) but no resolution. All old Java versions have been uninstalled. Thank you for your time.

Since I've upgraded to Firefox 19.x, font rendering has been completely broken. Fonts are all messed up, distorted, etc...

I've read through many suggestions about changing options in about:config, and various other settings, but nothing seems to work.

The browser is totally useless like this.

Any help on how to fix the font issue would be greatly appreciated!

All of our PDF file build in Abode Indesign CS4. If any pdf open with mozilla, will come error message will be come on top of page. why this error coming every time and every pdf files.

I turned on my notebook this morning to find Private Browsing on and Firefox reset to the default appearance. I can't find out how to turn this browsing feature off! Read the articles, looked at Community forum ... nada. Please help! I want my own Firefox back!

I have a connection but Firefox keeps saying " firefox can't find the server at..." on a few occasions firefox will find the server BUT only after I click " try again" about 15 to 20 times. I have a 64bit and am using Firefox v.19

Firefox 20.0.1, windows 7, flashplayer up to date.

Certain youtube videos won't play. The advert beforehand plays, and then the video just displays a black screen, no loading, trying to skip to a later time in the video doesn't work. It seems to be certain youtube users whose videos won't play, users whose videos I was able to watch only yesterday. The featured video on the user's channel is watchable, but not when opened separately. IE won't show the affected videos either.

I recently updated to 20 and my spellcheck context menu has vanished.

What if you aren't even given the check spelling or languages menu option yet the broken red line under mispelled words occurs and no spelling suggestions made when right clicking on those words?

I do not have xinha installed but the behavior is similar. I get the lines, but no options.

I was hoping there is a 64 bit version that runs with windows 7 64 bit. Please let me know as both of the pc's in my house run 64 bit win 7 and firefox version 20 32 bit. Thank you.

When I updated to Firefox 21.0, I found that Flash Player Plug-in 11.7.700.202 was not working. Videos would not play. Had no problem before the Firefox upgrade. I downloaded a new copy of the player but the download would not complete. A error message (only a single instance of this application can run) appeared. I used Adobe Flash Player's uninstall to delete all Flash files. Then I tried downloading Flash 11.7.700.202 again. Same error message appeared and would not finish the download. Chrome videos work with no problem. Is there a hidden Flash file somewhere that's conflicting? Is this a Mozilla bug? I looked at all the support topics and didn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
