I had Firefox running with probably 8 windows. I closed them all, plus other programs and rebooted the machine. After that Firefox wouldn't start. I have uninstalled and re-installed twice. The Profile manager won't run ... so I manually removed the preferences. I have tried clicking on the desktop icon, right clicking, right-clicking the firefox.exe entry in the file manager. And nothing happens. The firefox.exe *32 process appears in the task manager ... but the program isn't running. Absolutely nothing happens.

I am running Win 7 on a ACER laptop with an I5 processor and 4Gb of memory.

Every time I go to a page a popup appears in the lower left hand corner and one randomly appears in the right side. The right side is ad choices. How cam I delete these? I have Mozilla Foxfire and windows xp

I'm using Firefox 18.0.2 on my several PC's and synch works fine between them. But on my Smasung Note 2 (Android 4.1.2) Firefox could never synched bookmarks from PC. However opened tabs seems to be synchronized from PC to my mobile phone. But none of mbookmay PC rks seems on my Phone. I got no error message after synch operation on my android phone. But no bookmarks synchronized.

All options including Bookmarks selected under what to synch menu. I also tried only to select bookmarks, but helped.

I'm waiting this feature to work during a few months, through different firefox PC and android releases, now as a final hope I'm contacting with you.

My synch usename is buyukbang@gmail.com and I'm using default Firefox server.

I'm sure there is a bug blocking my bookmarks to be synched to my Android Phone , I really want to help Firefox devs to fix these bug.

An error message stating 'Synchronisation has not been able to complete during the last 7 days. Please check your network settings.' has appeared at the bottom of my browser for the last 2 days. Unfortunately, there is no guidance to what network settings I need to check. Any advice will be appreciated.

In the latest version of firefox 17, when i switch flash videos to full screen, the video doesnt show the video controls, which allow you to play/ pause the video or see how much time of the video has gone. It is there when i press back and return to the minimized version.. but for some videos when you minimize after full screen the video starts showing several colours instead of the video.

I'm using Firefox 20 on Linux Desktop and Nexus 4. I rarely close the browser on my desktop and keep unread tabs, but something that irritates me is that whenever I send a tab from my phone, it never opens up unless I manually sync. I tried various solutions to adjust sync interval, but it doesn't work.

How do I adjust the sync interval so that it's quick? I won't mind running my own sync server if mozilla sync services won't permit high sync rate.

I set up Sync on a Linux Mint os. I had to go back to Windows 7 os. Once I set up Firefox on the new os, I tried to recover the data from Sync, but I couldn't access it. I have my Recovery Key.

Question: How can I enable in Firefox (currently 7 - beta) to run javascript in the url bar. I mean running: javascript:alert('iaurt'); in the url bar. I remember this worked on previous firefox versions... And this works in IE but on Firefox it doesn't :(

I accidentally downloaded and wrote over the Firefox version I had with the new 7.0 version of Firefox after I read that my Mac OSX 10.4.11 is not compatible. Is there a way to download an older version, a compatible version of Firefox?

The new MacBook Pro with Retina Display has a 2880x1800 resolution and is not going to work well with the current version of Firefox. I am running Firefox 14 Beta; is there any news on when you will update Firefox to be compatible with new display?

When connecting to Firefox a window pops up containing the following message:

(Javascript Application) Exc in ev handl: TypeError: this.oRoot.enable is not a function

When clicking OK or closing the window allows connection to Firefox Start Page.

This window does not appear when connecting to Internet Explorer

Helly, my problem started with FF 6. It keeps freezing the whole browser after a few minutes. I think every 15 minutes it's freezing. Now I went to the helpforum and somebody gave the advice to deinstall FF. Run CC Cleaner. And then reinstall FF. I did that, and seems to work. It wasn't hanging anymore. BUT it came back!!! I don't have a clue why. I changed nothing to my pc. Now I have upgraded to 7.0.1 and the problem of freezing is still here. When it freezes, my whole pc freezes. I can do nothing else. please fix it!

I'm unable to play videos of any sort in Firefox (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.). I've installed the latest version of Flash multiple times and I've downloaded the latest version of Firefox. I've also tried disabling Adblock and clearing the cache/history, but nothing works.

After a Google search, when I click on any URL Firefox opens a random url and an "opening search" box pops up with the following message

What should Firefox do with this file ?

Ok I noticed that the Firefox updates have been coming quite rapidly and that the latest version is Beat. I understand Beta versions will have bugs and kinks that need to be worked out. My Problem is websites load slow as crap or don't load all together. And getting on Facebook? Forget that! Facebook has enough issues without throwing a slow Browser in the mix. My question is this. Does Firefox 7 Beta have some issues with responsiveness and speed? I noticed alot of people having the same issue as far as browsing speed. And before anyone suggests clearing history and cache. I have already done that several times. I have even checked my computer for viruses and anything else that might cause a problem like that. Add-ons and any extra toolbars are either removed or disabled and certain sites will still not load properly. Any extra information or advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you! A Loyal Firefox user.

Firefox is so slow that it is easier to load ie8 and use that. It runs fine. I uninstalled Firefox and rebooted. Did not fix. I ran Glary Utilities and it found 400+ fixes. and rebooted, and did not fix. This problem showed early this morning.
